I’m joining Amber of Airing My Laundry for Hey, It’s Okay Tuesday. I always enjoy reading these posts by Amber, I’m usually nodding my head in agreement.
What is Hey, It’s Okay Tuesday?
I got this idea from Glamour magazine. They have a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You’re welcome to join in and do something like this on your blog. Doesn’t have to be on a Tuesday either. Just make sure you link up and that the post you link up is a Hey, It’s Okay Post. Grab the button if you’d like!- Amber
It’s okay…..
- … that I’m posting my Hey, It’s Okay Tuesday post on a Wednesday. It’s even more okay that Wednesday is almost over and I’m finally getting this post up (because I was chatty on the phone today). 🙂
- … that I can totally relate to this post by Mia of The Chronicles of Chaos.
- … that I’ve become slightly obsessive with keeping track of my steps via my Fitbit. More Okay: That I’m whipping my husband’s buns!
- … that I’m proud of myself for sticking to my word by flourishing with my writing, creating, and photography.
- … that I can somewhat relate to this song. Anyone else?
- … that I would like 60 extra minutes of creative time a day to: paint, draw, color, hot glue, or write with no cares or worries.
- … that I was happy with the response to my post about my last fling.
- … that I will probably write a Thank You Note for that. ^^^^^^^^^
- … that I have a love/hate relationship with Google.
- … that sometimes I wonder if I should start all over with my blog. (Don’t listen to me, I’m just ranting because I’m not tech savvy.)
- … that sometimes I wish my dog had thumbs, so he could let himself out and in. #LazyHuman
- … that I wish I knew what my dog was thinking.
- … that I’m cutting this post short, so I can eat.
Happy Hey, It’s Okay Tuesday on a Wednesday!!
XOXO

January 28, 2016 at 2:07 pmThanks, Lowanda. This was a fun post to do, I may have to add this to my rotation. 🙂
I’m totally obsessed with the Fitbit, I cannot help it. I even make sure I take dance breaks in between blog stuff, because sitting on my buns. P.S. I’m still in the lead and whipping my hun’s buns 😀

January 27, 2016 at 10:38 pmLove it!
I got my hubby a FitBit for Christmas and I’m so glad I don’t have one because I’m sure we would get competitive with it. LOL
Thanks for sharing.

January 28, 2016 at 2:10 pmThanks, Jennifer!
You should get one!! I think the competition adds another level of spark to our relationship. 🙂 We don’t like the same football teams, I’m beating him at the Work Week Fitbit Challenge, you know stuff like that is totally hot. 😀

Me and Google are having some issues. We need to work it out, I count on Google, but Google needs to count on me. 😉

January 28, 2016 at 8:55 amOh haven’t heard that song, I like it. Also, totally agree on the dog thing. So wish I could tell what mine are thinking!

January 28, 2016 at 4:17 pmIs it okay that I have listened to Stressed Out about four times today? 😀
Right? It would be nice to know what they’re thinking, or maybe not. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, Brittany!

January 28, 2016 at 1:56 pmI hope you enjoyed eating!
Yes I’m relating to the Stressed Out song. And for wishing my dog had thumbs, or at least a doggie door!
MrsA0K2001
January 28, 2016 at 4:19 pmI always enjoy eating. 😀
Me too. I want that candle they mentioned as well. 🙂
We have a doggie door in the garage, which makes zero sense, but this house makes zero sense, so I guess it makes total sense.

January 28, 2016 at 8:13 pmYay for joining in. You can do whatever day works best for you, of course!
I have a Fitbit too. I try to get 10,000 a day, but sometimes it doesn’t work out. I also wish I knew more tech wise. I know the basics. The rest I have to YouTube, ha.
MrsA0K2001
January 29, 2016 at 1:31 pm🙂 It was my pleasure, I even wrote a Thank You Note about it.
I try to hit 10,000 a day as well.
I turn to YouTube all the time, but I cannot figure out my current tech problem. I just want to write and connect.
OXOXO

January 30, 2016 at 9:30 pmI would love 60 minutes of creative time too. Yesterday I bought some material for a sewing project. Now I just need to carve out some time to work on it 🙂
MrsA0K2001
February 1, 2016 at 11:11 amLast night we carved out some creative time, it was the best! I watercolored, my husband drew, and the kids colored, we totally lost track of time! We should do that more often. Thankfully, the kids do not have school today, so it was okay for them to stay up late and create.

January 31, 2016 at 6:54 amI was late posting on Friday…and that’s ok! Good for you for rocking it with the fitbit challenge. I’m supposed to be getting a Pebble watch (way backordered!) which will help me to better track my steps. My phone does it, but I don’t carry it around with me everywhere (in the house, for example).
I could always use more time for creative pursuits 🙂 I started checkout out CreativeBug…so many classes I want to take!
MrsA0K2001
February 1, 2016 at 10:15 pmI hate to admit this, but my gloating landed me with a case of karma. My husband slightly passed me up on Friday ?.
I made sure to take advantage of the kids being home (they had the day off) and we played Just Dance- instant steps. ?
I’ve also made more time for creative time- I love it!
Creative bug! I’ll have to look into that.

January 31, 2016 at 2:34 pmLol that you wish your dog had thumbs. I sometimes wish that about my cats, but then I shudder to think of all the more mischief they’d get into. Then I think I wish they could speak English so at least I can understand their plaintive meows, but then that’d come with it’s own set of issues. So, I guess they are staying the same. :p
MrsA0K2001
February 1, 2016 at 10:17 pmI guess you’re right. But gah my dog is always buggin’! I want in, I want out, I want in again, feed me… ? I’m half kidding.
XOXO
