Welcome to Thank You Notes!
What is Thank You Notes? I share a few weekly thank you notes some and you are invited! You can linkup your Thank You Notes below. I cannot take credit for Thank You Notes, Jimmy Fallon is my inspiration for this linkup.
Jimmy didn’t write out his thank you notes this week. 🙁
Thank you, dropping gas prices, for making me dance at the pump like it’s 1999! It is like I’m getting half off, and when you drive a Texas sized SUV and you’re feeding 3 babies, that deserves a happy dance. Speaking of the 90’s…. ummm MISSY ELLIOTT’s Super Bowl performance! More please.
Thank you, social media, for the bridge built. I cannot explain how thankful I am for the many relationships I have been fortunate to create because of social media. Many of my closest blogging friends I have connected with has been through SITSharefest #SITSBlogging. I love hanging with my SITStahs on Saturdays!
I also love that companies can appreciate a shout out and share, thank you Que Pasa Mexican Foods.
Also, this one was HUGE for me in the world of Twitter, GEORGE LOPEZ tweeted me!!!! I grew up watching George Lopez, and when he talked about my bacon wrapped avocados on Twitter…. umm day made!!!
Thank you, Starbucks!!! Hallelujah a Starbucks is being built close to my house AND it is not attached to a tire shop!!! #SmallTownUSA
Jimmy didn’t share thank you notes, but he did share this! Thank You, Jimmy!
Thank you, Friday!!
Happy Friday ♥
I would be SUPER THANKFUL if you would linkup to #TWSS here’s this week’s prompt:

February 6, 2015 at 9:39 amI HAVE to watch that Saved by the Bell video!!!! Yay for a Starbucks not being built connected to a tire shop. Makes the coffee taste better that way :). I linked up!

February 6, 2015 at 9:56 amYes, you have to watch it, they haven’t aged! Which makes me wonder… what am I doing wrong?
HA HA! Yes, tire-free coffee for me!
Thank you for linking up with me, heading over NOW!
xoxo

February 6, 2015 at 1:02 pmAhhh I miss the 90s so many things that I can’t enjoy anymore like indoor rollerblading on those funky rollerblades with the 4 wheels lol I wish I could have taken my kids there!!
Don’t even get me started on snacks that I used to LOVE in the 90s and then the music…music today has just become annoying and overplayed. 🙁 it’s sad how fast things can change around us!!
MrsA0K2001
February 6, 2015 at 5:28 pmI loved rollerblading!!! I think I might still have a scar from a wipeout. 😀
I still listen to 90’s music, and I’m enjoying watching Friends. Good times.
XOXO

February 6, 2015 at 4:20 pmI loved seeing Missy Elliott preform during half-time. I thought Katy did a great job too. I wish there would have been more time so we could have enjoyed more from Lenny Kravitz though.
MrsA0K2001
February 6, 2015 at 5:30 pmWasn’t it nice to see Missy back, I hope she stays awhile. Lenny Kravitz was in and out, right?
Thanks for stopping by. Happy Friday!

February 6, 2015 at 4:21 pmMy sister sent me that SBTB video….amazing!! So cool how they got 5 cast members to do that.
Yay for SITS and blogging connections 🙂 And a tweet by George Lopez? So cool!
MrsA0K2001
February 6, 2015 at 5:34 pmThat was pretty cool that Jimmy could wrangle five of the cast members to do the skit. They all look so good, they haven’t changed much… well Mr. Belding changed a bit.
I love SITS <3
Yes, the tweet about my bacon wrapped avocados was beyond cool! That post got RT'd, favorited, and visited quite a bit. {squeal}
Happy Friday!!!
XOXO

February 6, 2015 at 5:00 pmCame here by way of Lisa’s post 🙂
That SBTB video – utterly thankful for that one. Now can we have another one? 🙂
Social Media certainly is an awesome tool – you can build so many relationships with so many amazing people and you don’t even have to be in the same country.

February 6, 2015 at 7:05 pmWelcome Jaina!
That SBTB clip is AWESOME! I would love for them to do another. 🙂
I love that I am connecting with people around the world via social media. I have even met and worked with someone I met through Twitter. She and I did not live too far from one another. Now, we do- I moved.
Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Friday!

February 6, 2015 at 7:45 pmThat Saved By The Bell reunion was SO funny! They all looked like they haven’t aged, except when the camera did a close up on their faces. Ha Ha. I totally agree about Missy Elliot being the real star of the half time show. She was amazing and I loved her back up dancers too. So much better than Katy Perry! Your new Starbucks with palm trees looks like perfection.
MrsA0K2001
February 9, 2015 at 10:32 amThat’s how I feel people (from my past) think about me when they see me. They say you haven’t aged… but then they get closeup and probably change their minds. 😀
I cannot wait for that SBUX to open. This could be bad.
XOXO

February 7, 2015 at 8:46 amOh man. Those cell phones. Brings me back to the days of texting with T9 and making sure I had the cooooolest ringtone. I thought her performance was fabulous (although Katy Perry’s left shark did steal the show a little)!
MrsA0K2001
February 9, 2015 at 10:36 amOh the mobile phone how it has advanced…
I could NOT standing texting before, now that I do not have to tap one number three times to get to the letter I need… GAME ON! Could you imagine tweeting like that :O.
Thanks for stopping by, Amanda.
XOXO

February 7, 2015 at 7:11 pmThis was quite the week in pop culture. That SBTB skit was everything I could have asked for (minus a healthy-looking Lark Voorhies being included). And Missy? Just the best!
Congrats on being tweeted by Que Pasa and George Lopez. That’s so awesome!!
MrsA0K2001
February 9, 2015 at 7:10 pmWe (my husband especially) were wondering where Lark was, we Googled. 😀
I hope that performance by Missy means she’s back. {{fingers crossed}}

Can we say awesome. Then to top that you have a Starbucks moving in, do you know the property value on your house will go up. Again Wahoo!!!!!!
I too love that I have friends like you, I would have never guessed that starting a blog would give me a tribe. This has been one of the best things about blogging.

February 9, 2015 at 7:41 pmThat was pretty much my reaction to the George Lopez tweet. 🙂
The blogging community is awesome, I’m SO thankful for the bonds I’m building with wonderful women like you!

February 8, 2015 at 4:09 pmThe SBTB video was awesome.. but I was a bit shocked by Mr. Belding. I mean, before he came on, without my glasses on, I truly could have believed Jimmy was on the old show. Seriously. They all look great!
The gas prices are awesome, but I’m worried they’re going back up! I hope not. A new Starbucks is awesome. The bridge. SITS. Social media. Company shout-outs. SO GOOD.
MrsA0K2001
February 9, 2015 at 7:45 pmMr. Belding. My husband and I wondered what happened to “Lisa” Lark Voorhies, we Googled her, she does not look quite the same either.
It was a good week 🙂
Cheers to another great week and good health.
XOXO

February 8, 2015 at 4:48 pmLook at you. You’re famous now! Missy was ah-maz-ing at the Super Bowl and girl looked even better. xoxo
MrsA0K2001
February 9, 2015 at 7:49 pm🙂 Wouldn’t that be wonderful, maybe, if I was famous. I promise I would use my celebrity for good. Promise.
I loved Missy’s performance, I want more. 🙂

February 9, 2015 at 10:48 pmI loved that half-time show! Katy Perry was like the queen of the universe when she was flying on that star and MISSY?! Gurrrrrl, I was 18 again dancing to Missy when she came out.
MrsA0K2001
