I love Fridays, I love thank you notes, and I love Jimmy Fallon’s Thank You Notes, so, naturally, Friday here on my blog means:
Thank You Notes and Jimmy Fallon!
Jimmy’s Thank You Notes
Oh Jimmy! ?
Thank You Notes
Thank you, family, for another great Christmas in July. I’m so thankful for our own family traditions, even if it was too hot to think about hot cocoa.
BECAUSE apparently you do not need air conditioning here. ?
Thank you, kids, for my sweet presents! We usually make handmade gifts, but my eldest saw this tee and HAD to get it for me. 🙂 She gets me.
Thank you, Town Center and University Bookstore, for such a fun summer activity for the kids. 🙂 They set up a (as my husband calls it analog Where’s Waldo Go) Where’s Waldo scavenger hunt throughout the Town Center. I’m happy to report my son found ’em! He’s excited for the big Where’s Waldo Party in August. Gotta love free fun, amiright?
Thank you, baby boy, for our hot date. 🙂
Thank you motivators and goal diggers!!!
Thank you, moms (and dads). Mothering (parenting) is tough, but you’re tougher. And it’s all worth it. Keep doing what you’re doing and raising kind souls, the world needs you!
Thank you, YouTube, for this:
Does anyone else watch makeup transformations, yet doesn’t really know what they’re doing when it comes to makeup?
Do you have a thank you note to share? I’d love to hear who or what deserves a thank you note from you this week. 🙂
Share Your Thank You Notes
PSSSSST… I finally created an About Me Page. 🙂 I’d love to hear your thoughts. 🙂
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

August 1, 2016 at 10:15 amIt’s a fun kooky tradition we’ve been doing since my girls were little and my boy was a baby. I hope they’ll remember these crazy things their parents did with them. 🙂
I hope you had a lovely weekend!

July 29, 2016 at 10:07 amI like the attitude of gratitude and these posts are so positive. We should all celebrate our families and lives, as you do. Kudos. When it comes to makeup, I wish I was better. Flailing around by myself has hit a plateau; I need outside help to really improve.

August 1, 2016 at 10:25 amI’m the same way! I’ve watched thousands of videos and can NEVER create the same outcome. It took me 30 years to even consider wearing makeup, so the last few years has been a learning process. I did try to wear a little makeup my senior year of high school and my very early 20’s, but it seemed like a lot of work.

July 30, 2016 at 10:43 amLove your About Me page ☺ I don’t use my kids names either on my blog. I thought about using nicknames too, but I still haven’t done it either.
Christmas in July with handmade presents sounds fun. My son is all about handmade gifts so he would love to do something like this.

August 1, 2016 at 10:28 amThank you, Sonya. That’s right, you don’t use the babies’ names.
Christmas in July is fun; we watch Christmas movies, make Christmas cookies, usually there is hot coco, and little handmade presents. 🙂 I think all kids could enjoy a return to the most magical time of the year in the middle of summer. 🙂
XOXO

July 31, 2016 at 8:14 pmI forgot you celebrate Christmas in July. I should have added a card or something in the box for that. Your family have such sweet traditions. And yes, free fun is always a good thing even for adults.

August 1, 2016 at 10:51 amOh my goodness, no, you’re totally fine! Seriously, you made my family’s Friday! They were super excited for our box. Ms. Lowanda is a ROCKSTAR in my house. 🙂

August 1, 2016 at 6:55 amWowza, that makeup video was amazing! And yes, I enjoy watching makeup tutorial videos even though my makeup skills are so utterly basic.
Love your family traditions 🙂 I’m thankful for over a week away with my family and some beach time!
MrsA0K2001
August 1, 2016 at 11:07 amI don’t know how they do it, but boy I would love to learn! Magic. Okay, and skill tons of skill. 🙂
Do you mean looking absolutely STUNNING at the beach? 😉
XOXO

August 1, 2016 at 1:11 pmAhh.. your little guy is SO CUTE!!
I do watch makeup transformations but I couldn’t transform a single part of my own face! I’m terrible with makeup. Luckily mascara and lip gloss are my drugs of choice and they have smaller room for error than pretty much anything else.
My mom and I celebrate Christmas in July!

August 2, 2016 at 5:27 pmFirst, I have to say, that video was hilarious . . . and I feel the same about skim milk and frozen yogurt. Ha, ha! The idea of celebrating Christmas in July is so cute and fun. Great tradition. Fun post! 😀 xx

August 4, 2016 at 1:21 pmWow. Our town center set up the same Waldo hunt. I was guessing that some marketing genius from Waldo Enterprises creating the Waldo experience in a box. It really was so much fun. We spent a few days running around town. I bought a few things, too. Happy almost weekend to you.
