September 2, 2016 at 6:55 amOoh, pumpkin spice hard cider? How is it?
I can’t believe your daughter is in high school! How did that happen?
And I can’t believe summer is over. It’s funny, as soon as September hit the temperatures dipped from high of 90s to 70s/80s. I’m ready for fall weather!

September 2, 2016 at 2:29 pmIt was good, I imagine it would have tasted much better paired with a chili or maybe even pumpkin spaghetti.
I can’t believe she’s starting high school next week either. I’m not sure why time wants to sprint on us.
It totally feels like fall here. The weather was crisp and the skies were gray yesterday & today.
Happy September!
XO

September 2, 2016 at 12:44 pmA few years ago I was walking around Smith College and someone thought I was a student! So kudos to the high school one.
I remember so many of these wonderful memories! Ah, summer. Sob. But hello, almost fall.

September 8, 2016 at 2:45 pmI remember walking around the college campus with my college boyfriend many, many, many moons ago; there was a school photographer who stopped me and asked if I would take a picture for their publication. I don’t know why I passed up the opportunity but here’s what I said, “I don’t go here, I’m in high school.” My then boyfriend was all “WHY DID YOU DO THAT?”
It felt so awesome that he thought I was one of them, but being mistaken for a teenager and I’m in my 30’s UMMMM… YEAH! 🙂
The ladies must not have taken a really good look at me.
Summer went by too fast, right? It was nice seeing your summer adventures with your loves this summer.
Cheers to a happy {almost} fall!
XOXO

I cannot wait either. I’ve been collecting thoughts about the swap, but damnit I have no idea why I haven’t written them out and sent them to you.
We should chat soon. 🙂

September 5, 2016 at 3:11 pmNo, no…say it ain’t so! I’m not ready for summer to end! I’m ready for the heat to end, but not summer. I love how you recalled and showcased everything you did this summer. You’re so good. I’ve enjoyed sharing in your family’s adventures! ???
MrsA0K2001
September 8, 2016 at 2:49 pmAwww shucks, Lowanda, thank you!!!
I can imagine you’re done with the heat. I know that heat, and I’m good without it. However, it’s nice to be able to go to the beach almost all year round, at least just to sit and have a picnic. I do miss our picnics at IOP and Southern cooking.
Wishing you the best {almost} fall!!
XOXO

September 6, 2016 at 2:21 pmHi! I have a lot to be thankful for this summer also but I’m hanging on to it for another 16 days. There are many ways to enjoy fall too, but it can wait its turn on the 22nd. 😉 As usual, inspiring and beautiful post. <3 xx

September 8, 2016 at 2:55 pmIt’s crazy, here in the PNW it already looks and feels like fall. With my babies starting school yesterday and the weather, it seems summer is indeed over for me. 🙁
Maybe this weekend the weather will rise again and we’ll go to the beach and presto: summer. 🙂
XOXO

September 7, 2016 at 8:10 pmOh my goodness, HOW have I not been following you on Bloglovin?! Happy to be following now. Love your post! I was wanting to do a Thankful Thursday series but struggled to keep up. I think this is such a great idea! Maybe I’ll pick it back up. 🙂
MrsA0K2001
September 8, 2016 at 2:59 pmYes, HOW, could you not? I’m kidding, it’s cool. I’m actually really horrible at checking my BL, and I should get more serious about that. I’ll make sure to follow you back. 🙂
You should totally start up a Thankful Thursday or Thank You Notes Friday, whatever you do come share it with me. 🙂
XOXO
