I was running a bit behind, so I thought if you guys wouldn’t mind I’d write out my weekly thank you notes. Do y’all mind? Of course you don’t, you’re here. THANK YOU! 🙂

This is a super late thank you note: Thank you, Influenster, for my husband’s complimentary yummy smelling cologne. Have you smelled Ralph Lauren’s Polo Blue fragrance, it smells divine! 🙂

Summertime and the mothering ain’t easy, but today was pretty darn rad. 1) Take baby girl & baby boy to park. 2) Load them up on ice cream ??? 3) Take a car usie(?) in the Starbucks line. (I earned it. ☕️?? It was tea for me today.) 4) Walk around town with the rest of the familia looking for Waldo, or as my husband calls it analog Where’s Waldo Go. 5) Make a healthy & delicious dinner with your partner in crime, because remember the kids ate their weight in ice cream. ? 6) Tuck the babies into bed and have your heart melted: “Mommy, thank you for making my life better.” ? I can’t wait to do it all over again… forever! #MomDotMe #MomLifeIsTheBestLife

Thank you, summer, for crafting memories with my tribe.

Some weekends are spent creating. ? ? Saturday we had grand plans to celebrate our 1 year anniversary of being here, but we all ended up getting caught up painting, drawing, and writing. You can’t stifle creativity that shizzz gots to flow, yo! ? We made up for it yesterday and went out and enjoyed the return of beautiful (almost fall-like) weather. ANNND there was Korean food too! ? Mini clay concha cred: My ten year old baby girl.

This. ? It’s the little things in life, amiright? Like a quiet clean house filled with reading kiddos. ?? Did you hear me?!? CLEAN house, QUIET kiddos, READING ??? •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I hope my babies look back on their childhood summers with fond memories. I hope they remember that although they physically didn’t travel every summer, they always traveled. It’s my hope that they remember the countless visits to the library for stacks of books and do the same for their (very far distant future) kids. I do not have that childhood memory. However, I’ll always remember purchasing the newest Baby-Sitters Club, Goosebumps, or Judy Blume books, and locking myself away to gobble it up. What was one of your favorite book series as a kid?
