I love Fridays, I love thank you notes, and I love Jimmy Fallon’s Thank You Notes, so, naturally, Friday here on my blog means:
THANK YOU NOTES + JIMMY!!
Thank You Notes
I realize it’s Saturday, not Friday. And I apologize for my tardiness, but hey I was a day early last week. 😉 So, Thursday night I sat down and typed out this post, I told myself you can add pictures to your post early Friday morning, but that didn’t happen. I was so busy with my other Friday post that I didn’t give Thank You Notes the attention it deserves. I mean.. this is my 99th Thank You Notes post!! Next week is 100!!! That’s bonkers. Anyway… this week’s Thank You Notes:
Thank you, babe, for Face-timing our son’s Thanksgiving concert. I watched the show in my bed with a box of Kleenex by my side.
Thank you, family, for spoiling me and taking care of Thanksgiving.
Thank you, family, for understanding sometimes mama needs to take a flat lay.
Thank you, Saturday, for being a little nicer to me.
I went out in the public for the first time in what felt like FOREVER. (Excuse the picture quality it was an insanely gray day. Shocker.)
And we started our Christmas movie watching .
Thank you, babe, for editing & producing my latest video. ?
Thank you, fur baby, for being the best mascot, for a boy.
Thank you to all our fabulous 12 Days of Blogmas sponsors!!! Over $900 in prizes + $150 PayPal cash!!!
What are you thankful for this week?
Did you miss Day 1 of 12 Days?
Day 2?
Did you miss day 3?
What about day 4?
Day 5?

December 3, 2016 at 9:04 pmThis is so cute! I think we need to be more thankful as a society, so posts like this are always a great reminder to be thankful, even for the little things.

December 4, 2016 at 1:28 pmI love this idea of doing Thank you notes every week. Facetime is a great way to see all the action when you can’t be there. I wish I had that on my phone. Your photos are so adorable!

December 4, 2016 at 3:34 pmThank you, Melanie, Thank You Notes has really helped me to be grateful and stay positive. 🙂 Although, sometimes I write a few snarky Thank You Notes. 😀
Facetime is one of the best features Apple offers and I’m so thankful that we had last week. I felt horrible that I couldn’t make it to my son’s performance, so this was much appreciated.
Thanks again!
XOXO

December 4, 2016 at 1:39 pmAlthough I like Jimmy Fallon, I always forget to tune into his show. I do believe in expressing gratitude and like the way you have done so.

December 4, 2016 at 3:35 pmI understand, plus his show comes on kind of late. I don’t always catch it, but when I do it’s a good laugh. 🙂

December 4, 2016 at 2:28 pmI just love your Thank You Notes posts! They always make me feel good! That car selfie is cute, we just recently did one when we headed down to the Great Wolf Lodge! Ohh, I would have never thought to use FaceTime, but a brilliant idea when you can’t be there!

December 4, 2016 at 3:39 pmThank you, Carrie! 🙂
My family has become aware that at anytime I can whip out my phone and ask for the car selfie. 😀 I have posted a few on my IG. 🙂
Great Wolf Lodge, that must’ve been fun!
I’d love to take credit for thinking of FaceTime, but that was my oldest daughter’s idea. I’m so glad she thought of that, because I was feeling horrible that I was sick and couldn’t make it. Actually, I wanted to go (despite not feeling well), but some people said I shouldn’t.
Wishing you a beautiful week!

December 5, 2016 at 6:46 amWowee, you’re almost at 100! I’m glad you’re feeling better. Being sick sucks, but it’s the worst when it’s during a holiday. (True story: when I was in second grade I had chicken pox during Thanksgiving.)

December 5, 2016 at 7:52 amYour flat lay game is on point! 😉 That segment on Fallon is one of my favorites!

December 5, 2016 at 8:41 pmI’m so glad you’re feeling better and you have such a loving family. How sweet of your husband to Facetime the performance. It’s like being there without being there. Your dog is too cute and he makes a great model! No more sickness, okay. Stay sweet. Hugs!

December 6, 2016 at 10:17 am99, nearly 100!! WHOA! I think I’ve read many of them! If not, I’ll go back in time.
Being sick = terrible. The FaceTiming is so sweet!! And I understand about gray days. The sun is out today and it’s confusing me. It’s melting the SNOW!
