I love Fridays, I love thank you notes, and I love Jimmy’s Thank You Notes, so, naturally, Friday here on my blog means: Thank You Notes and Jimmy Fallon!
This week I’m talking football. 🙂
Jimmy’s Thank You Notes:
Thank you, Twitter friends, for putting up with my football tweets. Just a few short weeks left of me and my football talk.
Did you need a game day snack? How about trying these yummy and healthy-ish snacks:
Chicken Avocado Bellpepper kabobs
Paleo Candy {Dark chocolate infused with bacon}
Thank you, neighbors, for not toilet papering our house! I know we stick out like a sore thumb around here, us out-of-towners, but when we went ahead and put up my husband’s Steeler’s sign amongst the sea of Seahawks flags in the neighborhood, you didn’t shun us. Thank you!

Thank you, Steelers & Seahawks. 🙂 Maybe next year…
Thank you, assistant principal, for making my boy’s day and giving him a Terrell Owens Dallas Cowboys Football card. My son was the happiest little boy when he got home from school. My lil’ guy is a HUGE football/Cowboys fan, he always talks football with his Seahawks-loving vice principal, and this morning the VP pulled him aside to give him the football card. I always worry that my boy is going to get in trouble for football smack talk. He use to smack talk with the guys back at his barbershop in Charleston. 😀 Those guys loved him.
Thank you, rain, for making me sleepy and lazy. Looks like breakfast for dinner tonight… maybe this should be a thank you note from my kids. 😀
Thank you, school projects, for being the reason we have to go to the craft store. 🙂 I got new WATERCOLORS!! You know what I’m doing this afternoon 🙂
Thank you, mini me, for our bookstore & Starbucks date on Saturday.
Thank you, Ashley, for sharing your Sweet Links. I cannot wait for my daughter’s Snape Tribute Box to show up! (I love that proceeds of this purchase went to St. Jude.)
Thank you Friday, I’m in LOVE!!!
Who or what gets a Thank You Note from you?
Did you miss yesterday’s post?

Also. Bacon wrapped avocado! I haven’t really embraced the bacon wrapped things except for bacon wrapped tater tots, but this might be the ticket.

January 23, 2016 at 3:27 amPaleo candy? Looks delicious!? I noticed that my thank you for the week and my currently post need to somehow be combined so I can have something to post each Friday. I love the picture of the rain and someone under the umbrella. Hope all is well there. Noticed Charleston has been on your mind a bit. ☺☺ Take care.??

I wish I could take credit for the umbrella image, it’s a stock image.
Charleston has this charm that you just can’t shake.

January 25, 2016 at 3:13 pmThat chicken avocado one looks delish. I’m one of “those” who doesn’t eat bacon….. so no bacon infused snacks 😉 Thursday/Friday’s rain was crazy. Our kids had no school because that rain was supposed to do something. It would have been a lot of something if the temp had been lower. Oh well. I know no one was too excited about the snow they got but we wanted a little. Juuuuust a little.

January 28, 2016 at 1:53 pmCan I be honest with you? This is a shocker… okay… are you ready?
We’ve actually cut down on bacon and red meat. There I said it. We’re trying to eat more veggies and less meat these days. I haven’t had bacon in MONTHS. However, if I were going for burgers (which I also haven’t had in months) I would have some bacon sprinkled on top. 🙂
We would have liked a little snow too. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, Kenya!
XOXO
