A CEREALsly Cute Valentines

Posted on

Happy Valentine’s Week!!

I love Valentine’s Day week, there’s my daughter‘s birthday, so much love in the air, pink and red everything, cute valentines, and of course Galentines.  This year I’m not getting too crafty for the kids’ class valentines, but I have in the past. A few years back I made these CEREALsly cute Valentines for my oldest daughter’s class. Back then my design skills were a little lacking, but I wanted to share my printables with everyone anyways. HOWEVER… I had no idea how to do that, so I told the five people that read my blog back then to email me if they’d like the tags for their kiddos. It’s been a few years, I’m better at designing printables ANNNND I know how to share without asking people to email me!

I’ve updated my  CEREALsly Cute Valentines printables and I’m sharing them with you!

(I should probably also mention that my daughter, the now 15 year-old, 😬 helped me create these.)

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Brown wrapping paper
  • Cardstock to print tags on
  • Yarn or twine
  •  Spoons
  • Cereal
  • Tape or glue dots

Make a run to Costco and grab a box of variety cereal and wrap them in brown wrapping paper. With twine or yarn wrap and tie the spoons on the box. Next, place printables on top with glue dots or tape. Easy peasy! These would even make cute Galentine’s Day gifts for your friends, because brunch. 🙂

What are your plans for Valentines? What is your favorite Valentine’s Day memory?

Wishing you a Happy Valentine’s Day filled with LOVE.

SO cute. I love those variety packs of cereal anyway. What’s not to love? I need to borrow this idea next year, because we ran out of time this year. We’re doing fruit snacks.

Hi! That’s a very clever idea. They turned out really cute despite your so called lack of skills back then. 😉

Oh, my goodness… how fun is this post?! What a cute tag to brighten anyone’s Valentine’s Day 🙂 I had a good one this year, though Bryan and I aren’t really the ones to go all gooey. We were away that day and the housekeeping woman asked if she could do something special for us (I guess on the bed?), and I belted out “NO THANKS, WE’RE NOT ROMANTICAL!” lol she looked at me like I was nuts 🙂

I hope you had a very happy Valentine’s Day, momma!! XOXO

My kids both had dentist appointments on Valentine’s Day. I don’t know why I scheduled their appointments on Valentine’s Day, but I won do it again. Then after there appointments we went to a party at the library. The party was a lot more fun than the dentist 🙂

So cute! And not too terribly hard, IMO. Even I could do this. 🙂
