Sticking with Creativity
So, here’s where I would usually post a quote. You know I love a good quote, but I’ll refrain from placing a big picture quote, because the quote I want to use is one I’ve used here quite a few times. Which quote? Oh the quote about not using up creativity because the more you use it the more you have… You know, that one. I totally believe this to be true.
This weekend besides carb-loading (only on Saturday)
This girl got creative. I was in the zone like, I can’t stop-let’s do this-I’m ready-CREATIVE. I just couldn’t stop. I’m so excited that I allowed myself to get lost in it all! If you think this is another hint about what I’ve had up my sleeve for like EVER, you’re right, one last hint. Because you know what, I’m almost ready. It took some time for me to battle some demons, meaning: my own self doubt and over saturation of knowledge. I’m done with all that. It’s about to happen. I have a few more finishing touches and it’ll be out there for the world.
For now though, let’s talk about the creative weekend I had a few weekends ago.
Do you remember when I made a phone case using CaseApp for my daughter?
Making my own phone case was ridiculously simple to do, and man did people LOVE it! My daughter is still in love with her case- her friends are too. They have even asked if they could order one! 🙂 That totally made me feel good. I guess I have some teen cred. My friends at CaseApp have a sister company that is just as awesome, StickerApp. StickerApp makes custom labels, stickers, and made to order stickers. My daughters and I had the best time creating custom stickers on a Saturday morning.
You guys, it’s so fun, easy, and kind of addicting to create stickers!
You just pick what kind of sticker you would like:
I decided to make various styles to show you some different examples. I used some of my own original designs that you’ve seen here on my blog and on Instagram. 😉
Here’s what you need to do: upload your image and size it to you’re liking- done!
My girls helped me choose which designs to use for my stickers. The girls really wanted in on the action, so I uploaded their designs, too. 🙂 (Their designs are the donut and coffee.)
I couldn’t make stickers without representing my blog! 🙂 The possibilities are endless, seriously. I made stickers for blog promotion, for happy mail, for good deeds (random acts of kindness), for my kids, for you, for me. 🙂 I can see using StickerApp for holiday mail and blog swaps. 😉
I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Sticker App.
My friends at StickerApp are the BEST!! They are helping me celebrate my birthday month with a 20% off promo code for you to customize your own stickers using the: AOKBIRTHDAY20. That’s not it, friends!! StickerApp is giving away a $40 code to make your own stickers ANNNNNND a promo code to make your own case at CaseApp.
