Currently…

Listening: I’m not sure this month’s music selection is going to get as much love as last month’s… I am currently listening to Florence + Machine Radio. (iTunes)

Reading: Ugh!! Well, this is embarrassing, I’m SOOOOO behind on my reading. I’m still finishing up books that I mentioned last Currently. (I had not started them then, but I have now.) I’m also, about to add, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) {affiliate link}I’m just waiting on my library to give me the word. I’m anxiously waiting on my hold, so I can join Lisa & Shelly’s Page Turners chat.

Creating: I created some more happy mail, a few art journal entries, and I’m working on a little sumptin’ sumptin’ with my girl, Abby.  (STAY TUNED)

Feeling: like I am getting old. Not physically or mentally, but timely. It feels as though time is slipping through my fingers and I just cannot get a firm grip. When I was younger I am not sure I worried about time SO much. Days are starting to run together, things on my list are growing, and the kids are getting older… I’m getting older too. 😀 (I had to)

 {Which one do you like better?}

Thinking: Who the hell is calling me from Kissimmee, Florida? Voicemail! But before that last thought I was thinking about… Baltimore. I cannot believe what’s going on there. I swear I touched on something quite similar a few weeks ago.

Can’t wait to talk about Mindy’s book with you! Thanks for sharing the links! Did you read The Martian? So so good. We’re talking about it Friday. And yes, so crazy about Baltimore. That kid shouldn’t have died. Things like this should NOT be happening.

I’m looking forward to our Mindy chat. I did not read Martian… sorry. But I will visit and read all about.
It really is quite sad. My heart breaks for the family of the young man and for the city of Baltimore.

The speed at which times moves really freaks me out sometimes. I have this memory of Eve being just a few weeks old and just crying over the fact that she would one day no longer be my baby and I was worried it was going to happen too quickly. I sometimes miss infant Eve, but I do so enjoy her also getting older and watching her grow and learn and change right before my eyes. It’s absolutely amazing. But I still don’t want her to grow up too quickly.

And there was just something about April. It felt so off for me. I feel like I barely accomplished anything!

I think once the kids entered school time went into hyperdrive, I’m quite sure it did, or at least that’s how it feels. I miss baby and toddler days, but I’m still thankful for these days too, I’d like it all to slow down. I want to take it all in.

April. Not a bad month, not a sad month, it was just a fast not very productive month. WOMP WOMP
I’m sure you accomplished more than me. 😉

I’ve had that sense of time slipping away from me too. The days are short and the years are shorter.

I love reading all these bits and pieces about what’s happening for you.

Thanks for sharing (and for linking up to the #SHINEbloghop).

    Wishing you a lovely day.

I feel like a fool. I just responded to about 10 odd SHINE Blog Hop posts in a row and realized as I submitted my comment that I went into auto-bot mode and signed off the way I’ve signed off for the past hour. I think I need to take a break! LOL – I just popped over here to visit! Anyway please accept my apologies and I hope, if anything, this gave you a good laugh.

*Maybe I’m getting old mentally too*

Don’t feel like that, I just took that as an invitation and reminder that I’ve been missing out. 🙂 Thanks for the reminder, I’m heading over now!

Remember when you were pregnant with your first child and people would tell you, “they grow up so fast, enjoy it”? You heard it about 1,000 times a day and even more when she was born all snuggled in her stroller. Do you remember growing tired of hearing that same phrase? Do you now see what they were talking about, and wonder why they did not share the antidote for this? The days are all starting to runaway with me, and I’m trying to hold on…. (I’m a sap bucket, talk to me in the Dora voice to break out of this 🙂 )

Wishing you a lovely weekend, Jennifer!

I love those notecards! Girl you are too talented…you should really open a shop, because people would love those. Looking forward to your collar feature! My heart goes out to Baltimore, the overall climate in the nation is so bad these days. Its scary and I wish there was a solution for it all. I can’t even watch the news these days, because it makes my heart so heavy!

Thank you, Tenns!! I’m not sure if I’m Etsy-ready, I’ve been down that path before. I have the hairbows, tulle, and ribbon to prove it. 😀
My heart goes out to Baltimore too, it’s heartbreaking to see so much pain and hurt here in our own country. I really wish there was a solution. Well, I wish everyone would work toward the solution but that’s a whole other post.

I enjoy these currently posts so much from you! I read Mindy Kaling’s book and it only made me love her even more. I can not wait until her next book, I believe she is writing?.. Haha your recipe looks delicious, I’ve pinned for later! 🙂 xxo

Stevie Nicks for me! Always. I tend to like the original because the writer in me likes to think that all artists write their own songs (I think she did in this case) and that the story sounds best from their lips!
I feel old lately too. I’ll be 35 at my next birthday and that seems SO MUCH older than 34. Not sure why!

As much as I do enjoy the Dixie Chicks, Stevie Nicks has this thing in her voice that makes you feel the bittersweet. I’d like to think she wrote this song too.
I’ll be right there with you 🙂 We’re not old! But I get it, 35 is close to 40. And when we were younger 40 was like.. our parents. 😀 😀 #EW

Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? is so funny! Also, I love both versions of “Landslide”. It’s such a good, sad song 🙂

I have only read the beginning of the book and I’m already in LOVE. I love a book that can make me laugh. It is like medicine.
They are both good, I agree.
      XOXO
