I love Fridays, I love thank you notes, and I love Jimmy’s Thank You Notes, so, naturally, Friday here on my blog means: Thank You Notes and Jimmy Fallon!

Jimmy’s Thank You Notes:

(Jimmy didn’t have Thank You Notes this week. 🙁 So how about Hashtags?!?! #AwwHellSnow)

Thank you, family, for our Monday night jam session… or art session. ? It was nice to have a Sunday night filled with creating without the worry of Monday’s schedule. (Does it look like my husband is trying to use the force?)

Thank you, girls, for all the sweets you bake. ? Seriously, the treats are WONDERFUL, but mama is trying to get ready for the summer. Okay, I wouldn’t mind some more of those cupcakes again.

Thank You Notes| Thank You, baby girls for making cupcakes while I get summer-ready. :) |Mrs. AOK, A Work In Progress

Thanks again, family, for letting me have a little alone time with my book. On to the next one! I’m still taking suggestions 🙂

Thank you, PNW, for Korean food!! I grew up eating Korean food; kimchi, Korean pancakes, and bulgogi were childhood favorites. When I left Texas I made sure to buy my own bulgogi pan, so my kids would enjoy Korean food. Illinois had a few Korean spots, South Carolina… not so much, so thankfully the PNW has this:

Thank you, #DNDChallenge. I know I’ve already missed a few days (I’ll make it up) but I enjoy pushing myself to set aside creative time. I’ll try to do better next week.

Thank you, Instagram friends! I gather so much creative inspiration from Instagram. I’m really loving IG these days. 🙂

THANK YOU!! Once again you made me feel like I’m not alone. I love y’all!!

The Joy Luck Club – a good read! I just finished Nicholas Sparks newest novel – See Me. Will be reviewing it soon. Enjoyed the quote about the sofa, made me laugh! I wanted to remind you to link up your posts on my new linkup Party at My Place. Would love for you to link up your Thank You Notes too so others could join in. Going on still till Monday evening. Have a great weekend.

Lately I’ve been reading a lot of nonfiction and YA/Junior High books. I’m finishing up the Ever After High main series with my daughter and then we’ve moving on to their mini villain series. I also enjoyed reading The Sweet Life by vlogger and blogger Dulce Candy Ruiz and I’m finishing up Jessica Alba’s The Honest Life and will be reading Snooki’s Baby Bumps.

The cupcakes look decilious and so does the Korean food. I have never tried Korean food, You are a lucky mama to have little ones that bake for you. I enjoyed reading The Joy Luck Club when I read it too. I just started reading a book called Balm. The author wrote another book called Wench that I really liked. They are both historical fiction books, which I like a lot.

Korean food is awesome! I love bulgogi or galbi (Korean bbq), and kimchi! Kimchi is fermented, which is good for you. 🙂
I haven’t heard of Balm, thanks for sharing. I’ll have to Google that. 😉

We have some great Korean food options in the Boston area (another reason why you should come here!). My husband is super into kimchi. Me….not so much (but I do like other Korean food, so it’s all good!).
    That cupcake look yummy.
Can I commission you to do a drawing for my studio?

    1. MrsA0K2001

      February 8, 2016 at 10:17 pm

I would love to come there!
Yum kimchi! I grew up on that stuff, my kids aren’t as into as I was at their age. 😀
The cupcakes and frosting were awesome, and I’m usually not all about the frosting.
Aww you’re too sweet! 🙂 I’m not sure if I’m commissionable, I still need some work. I know, I know, I’m my own worst critic.
      XOXO
