I was running a bit behind, so I thought if you guys wouldn’t mind, I’d write out my weekly thank you notes. Do y’all mind? Of course you don’t, you’re here. THANK YOU! ?

Thank you, Labor Day Weekend, for being the long hard kiss goodbye of summer.

Because we were in denial that summer break was coming to an end, we were last minute shoppers. When you’re a last minute shopper you buildup an appetite and stop for sushi. When you stop for sushi and the sushi is on a conveyor belt in beautiful glass domes, it gets dangerous. 😀

Thank you, family, for carbs. How’s mama supposed to ever look like a swimsuit model with all these carbs?!?!

The girls made an AHHMAZING peach pie. I didn’t take pictures of it because we devoured it ASAP. This is the pie crust cookie hearts they gave us before the pie. OHEMGEE those were so goooood.

Sunday my baby girl and my husband made homemade pretzels. WOW!

We had a semi-traditional German dinner and watched the Longhorns Hook ’em. 😉

The carbs are ending for me soon. Well, not completely,  I will allow myself a treat or two. 😀

Our first day of school pictures didn’t come out as good because lighting and rain, but that’s okay our traditional Happy 1ST Day of School Ice Cream was good (that’s what they told me anyway, because no ice cream for me).

GO, GO, GO, SHORTY, IT’S MY BIRTHDAY MONTH, AND I’M GONNA CELEBRATE LIKE IT’S MY BIRTHDAY MONTH 🙂

Each week I’m going to celebrate my birthday with a giveaway!! And yes, the annual candy corn guessing game will still happen. 🙂
