I don’t know why but the song YMCA is playing in my head. 🙂 Maybe, it’s because that’s the song that’s played before sporting events or pep rallies, and I think that’s what Friday is, one big pep rally before the weekend. Or maybeee I’m just super excited to be baaaaaack and on a FRIDAY!!!
Fridays are my favorite day of the week, they always have been and I think they will always be. 🙂 Fridays are also my kiddos’ favorite, I think, well, here in Washington I think they are. Why? Because they get out of school early EVERY Friday!! LUCKY! I wish I would’ve got out of school early on Fridays. I always looked forward to family pizza night, remember all the “family friendly” shows on Friday night? Anyway, on Fridays I post Thank You Notes, my thank you notes are sometimes serious, big, small, or a tad bit witty (code: sarcastic), but there is always GRATITUDE. As I get older, I’ve learned that the little things add up, and I’m thankful for all things big and small. A gracious heart is a full heart. Fill that heart, friends! I want you to think about what you’re thankful for this week and share it! I cannot take sole credit for Thank You Notes, I give thanks to the hilarious Jimmy Fallon for that.
Each Friday on The Tonight Show Jimmy shares his Thank You Notes:
Thank you, internet/cable company I’ve cursed as an evildoer in the past, for coming through on fast internet service! I’m so happy to be back to blogging, which is also code for chatting and catching up with my friends. 🙂 I’ve missed y’all!!!!
Thank you, honors middle school algebra, for making me feel like I should repeat middle school. Usually, I pride myself on being “able” to help my daughter on her math homework, but last night I was stumped. I guess I’ll be on Khan Academy this weekend. 😀
Thank you, good good friends, for tagging me in Starbucks giveaways on IG!! I won!!! 🙂
Thank YOU!! I’m happy you’re here!! I’m happy to be back, I’m so happy that there’s a giveaway to celebrate fall, back to blogging, and my birthday!! 🙂
WHOOPS! I almost forgot to thank my team for counting candy corn for me 😉
Read my first installment of Across the Country with Three Kids, a Dog, and Our Sanity. Day 1 was scary!
