A little something for our That’s What She Said friends!
Thanks for sharing your insight with us last week! 😉 Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’… into the future.
I know I’m always talking about time slippin‘, buuuuuuut I CANNOT wait for May to turn into JUNE! I know, crazy, but it’s true. This June, my Mom is coming to visit us, and we could not be more excited!
My mom, has earned the respect and appreciation of everyone around her, because she is one helluva good woman. It may have taken me some time to clear my lenses and focus on the woman my Mom is, but I see clearly now. Half of what I’m saying is meaningless, so I’m using songs to help express to you… 😉

May 5, 2015 at 8:58 amOh I love this one! I definitely see my mom in such a different way now than I did when I was younger. I honestly don’t know how she did it at times because I have my struggles with just my ONE child. Plus she went back to school to get her Master’s when we were really young…wow! I think I have my post material! BTW, I hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day this weekend with your family!

May 5, 2015 at 5:35 pmMy mom taught me so much! She taught me how to be a mother, when to laugh, how to cry, to always smile and be polite, how to put my best face forward, how food can exciting, basic sewing skills, and so many other things. I am so happy she is my mother and that she is always there for me and my daughter.

May 7, 2015 at 1:11 pmYour mom sounds like one sweet lady. 🙂 I love hearing about the many things people have learned from their parents. It’s funny that at the time we do not realize the presents our parents are laying at our feet.
Thanks for sharing!

May 5, 2015 at 8:18 pmI love reading about other people’s moms and their relationships. It’s bittersweet for me bc my mom and I don’t have that kind of relationship. But I want to always foster that kind of love and trust and close relationship with my boys! 🙂
Thanks for sharing, Dean! xo

May 6, 2015 at 4:59 amI’m my mom’s hippie child too! My parents are currently in town for a week-long class my dad is taking, so my mom gets lots of Eve time which she is thrilled about. It’s interesting to think about my mom as a young mom with a young child now that I’m the mom of a little one. I hope you have an amazing time with your mom next month!

May 6, 2015 at 12:31 pmAw, what a beautiful post to pay homage to moms! Love the songs you picked, especially Ozzy and John Lennon :).
Thank you for sharing pics of your mom…I’m the hippie in the fam too :).
I’m super close with my mom. In fact, I live a house down from her so she can’t get rid of me yet LOL.
Happy hump day hun!

May 7, 2015 at 9:00 pmI grew up listening to Ozzy, my sister was a big fan when she was a teenager. Lennon is one of my favorites. “Lennon” was one of the names in the hat for my 13 yo. 😉
I’m sure my mom would have a slight freak out if I told her I shared her pictures on the www.
Wow! That is nice that you live so close to your mom. Lucky! 🙂

May 7, 2015 at 10:48 amI love the songs you chose for your mom! I think I would have to choose any songs we would dance to at the supermarkets while I was little – haha 🙂 xxo
