Your Hosts             Hosts TWSS Thank You Heart Thanks for sharing your insight with us last week! 😉     My Mother Kristin Hannah    Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’… into the future.

I know I’m always talking about time slippin‘, buuuuuuut I CANNOT wait for May to turn into JUNE! I know, crazy, but it’s true. This June, my Mom is coming to visit us, and we could not be more excited!

My mom, has earned the respect and appreciation of everyone around her, because she is one helluva good woman. It may have taken me some time to clear my lenses and focus on the woman my Mom is, but I see clearly now. Half of what I’m saying is meaningless, so I’m using songs to help express to you…  😉

Songs for my Mama
Mom and The Babies There are days I sit back and look at my kids, and wonder how my my mom felt when I was their age. I wonder if her heart was so full it felt like it was going to explode. Did she taste the bittersweetness of this bliss, the way I do? I see pictures of us together when I was younger, and that’s where I see the joy in her eyes, and maybe the realization of it all.

Over the course of our 34 years together our relationship has evolved into something even more beautiful. I know I can come to my mom with anything. Trust me, I’m her “hippie child”. 🙂 We have been each other’s shoulder to cry on countless times. I love that shoulder.   Mom and I
I love you, Mom! You are appreciated!! One last song: The song my younger brother and I would sing to my mom….

Oh I love this one! I definitely see my mom in such a different way now than I did when I was younger. I honestly don’t know how she did it at times because I have my struggles with just my ONE child. Plus she went back to school to get her Master’s when we were really young…wow! I think I have my post material! BTW, I hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day this weekend with your family!

I’m spending Mother’s Day with my mama for the first time in years. It’s her first Mother’s Day without her mother. I want to be there to support her and show how much we all love her. I hope you have a wonderful June with your mama and a Happy Mother’s Day to you! xoxo

My mom taught me so much! She taught me how to be a mother, when to laugh, how to cry, to always smile and be polite, how to put my best face forward, how food can exciting, basic sewing skills, and so many other things. I am so happy she is my mother and that she is always there for me and my daughter.

Your mom sounds like one sweet lady. 🙂 I love hearing about the many things people have learned from their parents. It’s funny that at the time we do not realize the presents our parents are laying at our feet.
      Thanks for sharing!

I love reading about other people’s moms and their relationships. It’s bittersweet for me bc my mom and I don’t have that kind of relationship. But I want to always foster that kind of love and trust and close relationship with my boys! 🙂

    Thanks for sharing, Dean! xo

I’m my mom’s hippie child too! My parents are currently in town for a week-long class my dad is taking, so my mom gets lots of Eve time which she is thrilled about. It’s interesting to think about my mom as a young mom with a young child now that I’m the mom of a little one. I hope you have an amazing time with your mom next month!

What an awesome tribute to your mom! I don’t know how I’d survive these days without my mom. She comes over every week and helps us out and truly loves unconditionally. Hope you have a great time with your mom next month!

Aw, what a beautiful post to pay homage to moms! Love the songs you picked, especially Ozzy and John Lennon :).

Thank you for sharing pics of your mom…I’m the hippie in the fam too :).

I’m super close with my mom. In fact, I live a house down from her so she can’t get rid of me yet LOL.

    Happy hump day hun!

I grew up listening to Ozzy, my sister was a big fan when she was a teenager. Lennon is one of my favorites. “Lennon” was one of the names in the hat for my 13 yo. 😉

I’m sure my mom would have a slight freak out if I told her I shared her pictures on the www.
Wow! That is nice that you live so close to your mom. Lucky! 🙂
      XOXO

I love the songs you chose for your mom! I think I would have to choose any songs we would dance to at the supermarkets while I was little – haha 🙂 xxo
