Q & A with Younique by Sylvia Guzman + Giveaway

  What made you decided to become a Younique Representative?  I love makeup!  I have a friend who started presenting Younique products a year ago and explained how much fun she had doing it.  Guess what.  I love fun, too!  I obviously had to follow suit for all the makeup and fun and the opportunity to start a small business with no risk at all.  Now that I am a Younique Rep, I am most excited about the quality of the products and the community of beautiful women I work with and serve.  I love Younique’s message: Uplift, Empower, and Validate!  

What are your favorite products and what do you suggest for everyday wear?  Favorite?  How could I choose?  I love the complete portfolio of Younique products and enjoy finding just the right product for each of my gorgeous clients.  Currently, for my own personal use, I adore the 3D fiber lash mascara, Beachfront Bronzer (Color: Hermosa), the lip stains (Color: Skittish), and the BB cream (Color: Honey). My everyday go-to look includes Moonstruck Mineral Concealer (Color: Fabulous), BB Flawless cream (Color: Honey), Beachfront Bronzer (Color: Hermosa), and one coat of the 3D fiber lash mascara.  I complete the look with the Lucrative Lip Gloss (Color: Loveable).  I love this makeup!    

Can you tell us more about your parties? (I wish I could attend one, do you have virtual parties?) The parties are such an important part of my approach with the Younique business.  I used the word “community” to describe the ladies who trust me for their cosmetic needs.  We “break bread” with rich food, robust wine, and our favorite Younique makeup!  I even have a makeup artist who gives mini-makeovers and tutorials on how to use some of the products I present. As you can probably tell, the parties are a lot of fun, but that’s not the only way to get a hold of Younique products.  I invite family and friends to host a virtual party online where they can earn free makeup while sharing the product portfolio with their friends!  Hosting a virtual party is as easy as going to my website.  Once someone creates the virtual party, Younique will provide a link via email for sharing with all friends through social media.  

With two precious baby boys at home, how do you manage business and babies? Younique allows presenters a lot of flexibility and I love this aspect of being on their team.  I have a daily routine where I work on my business when they (my sons) lay down for a nap or quiet time.  Literally, that’s all the time I need to promote daily, handle new orders, and try new techniques with the products.  It’s easy, and really rewarding to help other women feel beautiful inside and outside!

Do you have any quick and easy makeup tips?

I sure do have some tips to share!  You would laugh.  I sometimes practice applying the makeup at home and I walk around the house looking amazing like if I am on my way to fancy ball.  Here are a few tips to get a flawless, summer glow: (1) start with BB Flawless cream and (2) apply the Beachfront Bronzer.  If I want to go light on the makeup, I find that the 3D lash mascara, Moonstruck Precision eyeliner, and some lip gloss is just enough to make me feel beautiful.
