I thought this would be a fun giveaway for some Veronica Mars Fans – or someone just interested in having a fun night out. Have you heard of Veronica Mars (created by Screenwriter Rob Thomas)? The series started in 2004 and ended on The CW in 2007 – lasting a total of 3 seasons . It was a series about Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell) – a high school turned college student moonlighting as a Private Investigator.
Following the cancellation of the series, Screen Writer Rob Thomas wrote a script to continue the series on the big screen. Warner Bros. opted not to fund the project – so in 2013, Thomas and Bell took the idea to Kickstarter. They raised $5.7 million through Kickstarter and started production in June 2013. The movie just released on Friday March 14, 2014 in 291 theaters nationwide and earned an estimated $1 Million.
