Bipartisan Election Day Party Time?
Tonight is the final debate!! :::I’ll wait while you throw glitter in the air and do the running man:::
This election season has been rough. We’ve had some lows, low blows, and our WTF moments. It seems like a lot of us are ready for it to all to be over.
Things have become so hostile that I thought we needed a party!!!
What, an election day party, but why?
That’s a good question, and I am glad you asked that question, reader. I am humbled to live in what I think is the best country in the world. I am grateful for our democracy, and despite the turbulence our country has faced over the last year or so, I still have faith that we can withstand what ever comes at us. Plus, who doesn’t love a good party?
People are telling me, you know these people, that they feel like they’re voting for the lesser of two evils. Evils, you know, like bad. Very bad. Maybe like Mufasa’s brother Scar bad, I don’t know. Anyway, because they feel this way you can find fun bipartisan goodies. I think we can all agree on voting for tacos, coffee, and pizza.
So Let’s Throw an Etsy Bipartisan Party!!!
To start any party off right you have to begin with COOKIES!! Merci Bakery
Becuase you may need a cocktail or two or three for your guests, fancy smancy gold swizzle sticks. Gnome Sweet Gnome Shop
If you didn’t share it, it didn’t happen? I think that’s what the kids are saying these days. You know you’ve got to Snap, Tweet, and Instagram it all. So, create your own backdrop and get these fun presidential election photo props. Big Dot of Happiness
Dress up your cupcakes with these printable wrappers and toppers. Kudzu Monster
Did somebody say PIZZA!?!?! Chances are you’re either having pizza, hamburgers or tacos, because what’s more American then those three? Yes, I know none of those originated in America (ehem… moving on) but we’ve adopted them into our culture. Cotton Berry Designs
What ever shall we wear to the party?
How about we represent COFFEE!! Coffee for President
You know I didn’t forget about the babies. 🙂 Purple Possom
Cool, how about Leslie Knope? She was always such a kindhearted politician for the people. 🙂 Alexa Z Designs
All kidding aside…
No, we cannot vote for tacos, pizza, coffee, Mickey or Leslie. But we do HAVE to vote, even if you feel you’re voting for the lesser evil. Who do you want your children to follow as their leader. Vote with your ethos/ethics, gut, heart, because sometimes party fails you. Well, unless it’s a super fun Etsy election day party! 😉 You have other choices than Trump and Clinton… but… well, I let you decide. 🙂
