Thank You, Jimmy!

Thank you, friends, for suggesting that I turn Thank You Notes into a linkup! I cannot wait to see what everyone shares each week 😉

I get by with a little help from my friends

Thank you, weather, for my beautiful weekend.  The weather has been glorious, we spent the whole weekend outside enjoying the elements.  Sooooo… I guess I should forgive you for brutally murdering our pumpkin….

I love the beach photo of your mermaid running because of the shadows of her legs. So very cool!

I love your picture next to the graffiti wall. You look amazing! Channeling your inner Johnny Depp is always an awesome choice. Do you remember how hot he was in Don Juan De Marco? Swoon. Our pumpkins only lasted three days. They turned into moldy, melted messes quickly. I even tried Pinterest preserve your pumpkin techniques. Totally didn’t work. xoxo

      Why thank you, Chastity 😉
Okay, don’t get upset with me, BUT I have never seen Don Juan De Marco 😀 However, I’m sure he looked yummy, per usual.
You know, I was mad at myself for not doing the Pinterest pumpkin preserve thing, glad I didn’t waste my time.

I was in middle school when it came out. I think we snuck into the theatre. But he was super dreamy in it. xoxo

I gather you’re talking about the mermaid one, and guess what…she didn’t even wear it to Trick-or-Treat in; she was the White Rabbit for Halloween 🙂

For the record, your pirate-y beach outfit is AWESOME 🙂

The beach is amazing isn’t it? I always wonder what people thought of the ocean before they had the science and technology to actually know. Like, they had no idea just how deep it was, what creatures lurked underneath, how violent it could become in an instant. I’m sure it was such a mysterious entity to them. Thats probably why old drawings of the ocean depicted sea dragons, mermaids, ginormous squids and such!

I am so thankful for the ocean…it is one of the things that keeps me sane and content here 🙂

I also love the graffiti picture. We have a bunch of graffiti artwork in town and I’ve been wanting to take pics in front of them!

    What a fun link-up!

Seriously?!? Thanks, Shell. I came home and saw the picture of me, and thought… OH DEAR– I’M JACK SPARROW!! Only, I thought it more in a BATMAN voice 😀

I imagine the ocean was an open book for them, something they wanted to read more into, considering plenty was done on the water (transportation). If you think about it we’re still exploring it, just as they did. I can totally get sucked into one of those underwater Discovery Channel-type documentaries.

The beach is calming, something I’m very thankful for 😉
      XOXO
