Thank You Notes| A weekly link-up of gratitude inspired by Jimmy Fallon and hosted by Mrs. AOK, A Work In Progress| Fridays

I love Fridays, I love thank you notes, and I love Jimmy’s Thank You Notes, so, naturally, Friday here on my blog means: Thank You Notes and Jimmy Fallon!

Thank you, St. Nicholas, for stopping by and filling boots. 🙂

St Nick's Day 2015

Thank you, Touched Magazine, for believing in me. I’m excited to share more DIYs over there. 🙂

Candy Cane Sugar Scrub

Thank you, new (elementary) school, for not being like the old school. I’m loving the community vibe.

Thank you, patience, for not going all Hulk Smash or Vader force on the kiddo who accidentally dropped half a box of cereal on the floor. Nope, I didn’t even raise my voice. I grabbed some ornaments and started taking pictures. I know… whoa!

Thank you, xenophobia fighters.  Peace & Love, always!!

Thank you, Friday!!

*** Thank you, Lowanda, for sharing kindness! Lowanda made me incredibly happy with her sweet acts of kindness, and to top it off she challenged her kiddos at school to join in. Which is why Lowanda is the Kindness Challenge winner. I totally forgot to share that last week. If you don’t follow Lowanda yet please do. This woman has a heart of gold and a smile that will light up the darkest room. Sunshine. 🙂

Rock on Dean for not raising your voice! So much more effective that way. And I just pinned your scrub! So pretty.

She is! I actually got to meet her in Georgia! Crazy, right? Considering we both lived in South Carolina at the time, I lived in Mount Pleasant and you know where she lives. 🙂 We hit it off there at Bloggy Boot Camp and the rest is history- I think I used that right 😀

I’m still trying here. I haven’t made any “friends”, but since I’m an art docent at the school I do interact with other adults, and that’s nice. 🙂
      And thank you, ma’am!
      XOXO

Congrats on your opportunity to share DIY posts at Touched Magazine. That’s really exciting 🙂 It’s great that your kids new school is better than your thier old one. It’s awful when you have to deal with your child being at a school that’s not a good fit. My son is homeschooled but when he was three he had speech therapy through the school district and it was awful.

Thank you, Sonya!! I’m excited to share more DIY posts, I love creating things. 🙂
I’m so happy this school is so much more positive. They aren’t holding kids back, which is awesome because I feel like bored kids can sometimes turn into not-so-well-behaved kids. I didn’t like the way things were going down in their old school in SC, so I pulled them out and homeschooled. By the way I loved homeschooling!
