10 Gifts for Creatives {Gift Guide}

*PSST… This post contains affiliate links. If you purchase one of these awesome items you help this blog pay the light bill… okay, the Bluehost bill or you put money towards my coffee. Speaking of coffee next up is my gift guide for Coffee Lovers, because um hello COFFEE LOVER. ๐Ÿ™‚

Last week I shared 10 Gifts Under $100 for Bloggers {gift guide}, did you check it out? I’m pretty much putting together one big o’ wish list and hoping Santa will hook a sister up! We shall see…

10 Gifts for CreativesAnyway enough about me, let’s talk creatives! Chances are if you’re here you’re a creative, considering most visitors to this blog are content creators, so yes, you are! But what is a creative? A creative is someone who creates, you don’t have to be Bob Ross to consider yourself a creative, you just need to create, and I sincerely believe we all have the power of creativity in our bones. Like Maya Angelou (a creative) said:ย

So, this list is for you, you creative soul! Get making.

Gift guide for creatives

1)ย Polaroid ZIP Mobile Printer | Have you ever taken a picture and wanted it right away? I’m an iPhoneographer, I’m constantly taking pictures with my phone, but printing them, that’s another story. You can print your pictures from your phone in 1 minute and 30 seconds! This would be perfect for scrapbooks, journals, or really good pictures with friends. ๐Ÿ™‚

She beams with creativity.

8) Polaroid Photo Studio Light Tent Kit|Creatives like to take pictures. Creatives like to take pictures of their work. Creatives like natural light, but sometimes they move to oh say… the Seattle area and need things like a light tent kit to help them take awesome pictures for their blog, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Polaroid Photo Studio Light Tent Kit, Includes 1 Tent, 2 Lights, 1 Tripod Stand, 1 Carrying Case, 4 Backdrops (Black, Blue, White, Red)

9) The Busy Mom’s Guide to Creativity by Bev Feldman| It’s no secret here, I love Bev! Bev is my homegirl. That would make a really cool shirt. People would stop and ask who’s Bev, and I would respond, she’s an awesome creative mother who is inspiring other mothers to keep their creativity alive! Bev is like a modern day Pablo Picasso, not that she is a painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist or stage designer, but she is a writer, jewelry maker and crafty pants mama. Pablo Picasso said

Bev is trying to make sure we design a life with creativity in mind, she wants us to remain artists. We may not be children anymore but that does not mean we cannot still create with the same glee as we did back then. This workbook is a MUST for all mamas!!

10) Makers Gonna Make Teeย Do I really need to say anything? This shirt is awesome! Yes, please!

  1. I would love that picture printer! I have a habit of never printing out any of the pictures I take on my phone. The adult coloring book is on my list too! I told my husband to get me one : ).

    1. I’m the worst at printing out pictures. I have even heard from kiddo 2 about my lack of pictures of her, she also mentioned how I have plenty of kiddo . I apologized but um she forgets there’s even less of kiddo 3. I should really work on that.
I hope your honey gets you a coloring book, they’re addicting!!

  2. Oh my goodness, you just put the biggest smile on my face!! You are such a sweetheart. I’ve certainly never been compared to Picasso before! ๐Ÿ˜‰
I seriously want most of the things on this list. Those pens! That lettering book. Such a fantastic list (and I’m not just saying that b/c my book is on this list). These are such great ideas!

    1. ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy to make you smile! I love that you’re keeping creativity alive in Mommies all across the land- that’s important!
      Thank you!

  3. Well.. I LOVE #9.
As for the little Polaroid light tent kit, I highly recommend. Cassidy made me one. It can be done. But buying one is pretty awesome too.

    1. #9 IS pretty awesome! ๐Ÿ™‚
I really, really, really want a light tent kit! You should see the things I do to get light here. ๐Ÿ˜€

    1. Thank you, Healing Mama! You’ll have to let me know if you get it. My husband and daughter both have a Wreck This Journal, it’s awesome! There are fun tasks, out-of-the-box tasks, to get you thinking creatively. Some people get super creative, I’ve seen really neat pages on Pinterest. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. It’s funny I asked for creative gifts on my list this year. I love your suggestions and will be adding some of them to my wish list to buy for myself sometime soon.

    1. Me too!!! I love that shirt ๐Ÿ™‚
The camera light tent kit is at the top of my list- I made sure my hubby “proofread” this post ๐Ÿ˜‰

  5. OMG – I love your list & have just gotten a few of these things for myself on the list recently OR asked for them from Santa. It;s been really grey here in Ohio lately so I am going to check out that light kit because I NEED something! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. It does get quite gray in Ohio. My first visit there was years ago during Easter and it was cold and gray. I’m a Texas girl, so that was a shocker to me because April always meant sunshine and BBQs. ๐Ÿ™‚
Now, that I’m here in the Seattle area I think I most certainly need a light kit.
I hope Santa brings you everything you wished for!

  6. I need to work on being more creative. I really want to learn how to sew in 2016. I have a sewing machine sitting in my bedroom waiting for me to learn how to use it (or re-learn how to use it, I learned to sew in 9th grade, but I haven’t sewed since).

    1. I want to learn how to sew! I had a sewing machine and sold it in a garage sale. Now I wish I had it. My 13yo has also said she wants to sew, too, so maybe we’ll have to get another sewing machine. Now, I just need to figure out where would store it. ๐Ÿ™‚
I’m sure YouTube has some great tutorials on sewing. ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. These are all awesome gifts! I started meditative coloring several years ago, and I love it. I am glad it is becoming more mainstream now. It is the perfect activity for me to do with my kids, while they color. And Amazon gift cards are probably the best thing in the world ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. I totally believe in the power of meditative coloring. I had no idea adult coloring books would become so mainstream, but I’m glad it is. I believe we could all benefit from a little more people coloring. I love when my whole family all sits and colors. ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. I love the light box kit. That would be perfect no matter where you live. I’m sorry you moved to Seattle just at the start of El Niรฑo! Time to invest in a sun lamp! : ) I think these are all great gift ideas and an Amazon gift card is always at the top of my list.

    1. A sun lamp ๐Ÿ™‚ Yesterday the sun was out and shiny SO bright, today it’s cold, gray, and rainy. I hear we *may* get snow on Thursday.
Amazon cards are right up there with SBUX cards. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thanks for the party, Heather! ๐Ÿ™‚
Yes, the coloring book seems really cool. I love all of Dawn Nicole’s work, so I bet it’s pretty awesome.

  9. Oh I love this list, I would totally have that mobile printer and/or Bev’s book for myself. Definitely getting the adult colouring book for my sister, I have been looking for something smallish to send to her (in Australia), so this is perfect!

    1. Bev’s book is awesome! I hope you get a chance to read it and fill out the workbook. I seriously felt motivated to create more, Bev is an inspiration.
I love my adult coloring books, they are therapeutic. You’re sister will love whatever one you send. ๐Ÿ™‚
