Thank You Notes |A weekly linkup to share your Thank You Notes| Linkup| Thankful| Mrs. AOK, A Work In Progress

What is “Thank You Notes”? I share a few weekly thank you notes some may big, some may be small, and there may be some snark.  You are invited to share yours too, link up your Thank You Notes below. I cannot take credit for Thank You Notes, Jimmy Fallon is my inspiration for this linkup.

Thank You, Jimmy!Jimmy’s Thank You Notes:

My super rushed Thank You Notes, because I had a sick kiddo: :::UPDATE::: The kiddo is fine. He said sharp pain and we freaked out. He was up and running on Friday.

Thank you, family for a fun weekend. I know we were all battling the seasonal sniffles but we made the best of it.

EasterMorningA

Thank you, school car line, I know I’ve cursed you in past but lately you’ve provided me with some much needed quiet time to catch up on my reading. (I’m sure I will not rush to the car line for reading time when it’s warmer. Because sweat…. yuck!)

Reading in the car

Thank You, Influenster, for my happy mail. I’m enjoying my Neutrogena Naturals makeup removing wipes.

*I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

Thank you, insurance!!! Last night (because it’s 12am) we had a little scare here, which turned out to (hopefully) be just a little case of tummy troubles. We will happily pay the co-payment to be overly cautious parents… better safe than sorry, right? What are we, ROOKIES!?!?!

Thank YOU! I’m so glad you are here, thanks for taking time out of your day to visit me! I love you!!!

Thank you, Friday!!!

What are you thankful for this week?

I remember the school car line too. Use to read, make lists, do my nails, it is a good time to “catch up.” I use the Neutrogena line.. love their stuff.

Exactly! The car line is my “catch up” time to read, write, or even Tweet. (I have even written a Thank You Notes post on a napkin.) I have my littles bring a book too.
I’m really enjoying my Neutrogena wipes, have you tried them? They smell delicious and they work waaaay better than other wipes I have used in the past.

Tummy troubles are gone and the sniffles are slowing down. I’m not sure if they’ll stop any time soon with all this pollen.
We had an enjoyable weekend for sure. I hope you did too.

Hope everyone is feeling ok! Car line reading sounds awesome. I used to babysit a family and I had to pick up the oldest from school and sit in a car line. I don’t remember how I passed the time, but I do know it was pre-smartphone days!

I’m happy to report that everyone is feeling good. We freaked out when my son said “sharp pains” near his belly button. Thankfully, the sharp pains went away after a few good expensive burps. 😀 😀

The car line. It’s a love hate. The school is quite a distance from our house, so when all three of the kids were going there I would have to spend almost an hour waiting in the car. Some days it was fine the kids did their homework, snacked, read a book or watched a movie. However, some days they would argue and on hot days I HAD to run the car, which I hate to do. Now, that it’s just my daughter at the middle school we don’t have to wait as long. Some of my best tweets come from the car line. 🙂

hope you all are feeling better! I got the Neutrogena Naturals from Influenster, too! So far, so good. I have sensitive skin and this actually hasn’t irritated me at all.

      All better. Thanks 🙂
I have super sensitive skin too. I agree with you on the Naturals, so far, so good.

I hope your kiddo is feeling better. We always take our kids to the doctor too. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.
I got the face wipes too, but I still need to try them.

Thanks, Sonya, he is all better. Thankfully, nothing was seriously wrong, just regular tummy troubles.
      I’m loving the face wipes.

Hope the sniffles and tummy troubles are long gone! We had both in the last week so I guess I’m most thankful that they went away. Even the cough remnants.. and that takes forever.
Also, it was 70 and sunny today. Blew my mind.

We’re all good here, thankfully. I’m thankful they went away for you too.
I’m glad you got some sunshine your way. 🙂

Thanks, Keisha. I’m glad it was nothing serious. My daughter had a friend whose appendix ruptured and since then I’ve been super vigilant. (or fearful.. whatever)

I got the face wipes, too. 🙂 Love trying out new things. That’s great that you can see the positive of having some reading time in the car line. I’ve read aloud to my kids during car waits in the past, but this school year, we don’t have the lag time we used to.

I love trying out new things too. It is nice to get free things in the mail instead of bills, right? I’m all for happy mail.
There is an upside. 🙂 My wait isn’t as long as it use to be now that my younger two are homeschooled. When I had to pick them up plus my eldest the wait was FOREVER.

Isn’t that little extra reading time in the car great? I found that I had to start taking an hour lunch at work. At first I was upset about it. But I’ve spent the extra time reading. I’ve found that I can’t wait for my lunch break now. Don’t get me wrong I’d rather go home early, but I also know that I wouldn’t use that extra half hour at home to just sit and read.

Yes! I love that reading time, because I’m not too distracted and I have no guilt. An hour reading break!!- I’m jealous. 🙂

I’ve thanked our insurance too! I heard horror stories about school drop off and pick up lines…I am thankful I don’t have to deal with it..though I am cursed with an hour commute each way.

Having insurance is a life saver, especially when your kiddo says “sharp pains” near the belly button, and then starts to feel a bit better after a few expensive belches. 🙂
The car line CAN be a nightmare. Thankfully, I only pickup my daughter, now that I’m homeschooling. I do not know if I could handle the hour commute. ::HUGS::

We don’t have car line over here, it would certainly help out trying to find somewhere to park for the school run. My daughter’s school is in a tiny village and near school parking is at a premium. I tend to gloat and take a shot of where I park if I get a good space! 😉 Sim xx

🙂 I love that you take pictures of your parking skills. Wishing you all the best spots for the rest of the year. 🙂
I park too. I do not attempt the line, although I always end up in the line because the parking lot and car line are in the same spot- it’s super congested.

I need to get twitter set up on my phone for waitin the car. easier than commenting on blogs while sitting at the doc with a sick sleeping baby on my lap like now!

    1. MrsA0K2001

      April 14, 2015 at 10:23 am

I like having Twitter on my phone while I’m waiting in the car line… BUT I don’t like that sometimes I feel like I’m checking my phone too much. I’ve considered removing it but I can’t.
Commenting from your phone on a blog can be tough but I imagine it’s even tougher with a sleeping sick baby. I hope your sweet baby feels better soon!!

Happy to hear everyone is feeling better. I do love the car line for reading a book (or catching up on my email), but it drives me crazy in the mornings when people can’t figure out how to get their children out of the car in a timely manner. Oh well. Have to check out those Neutrogena wipes, looks like everyone likes those! Enjoy your week!

Thanks, Kirsten, I’m so happy we have put that behind us. I don’t want to jinx us, so I’ll just say this week has been nice. 🙂
I know exactly what you mean, this morning we were waiting in the line wondering what the hold up was.
The wipes work much better than other brands I have tried and the do smell really good.
      Happy Friday Eve!!
