Welcome to Thank You Notes!

Thank You Notes| A weekly link-up of gratitude inspired by Jimmy Fallon and hosted by Mrs. AOK, A Work In Progress| Fridays

I was inspired by Jimmy Fallon and Gratitude. If you feel inclined to join me, I would love to have you. 🙂

Thank You, Jimmy!

Jimmy’s Thank You Notes: Jimmy did not share Thank You Notes last week, so you know what that means…. HASHTAGS 🙂 #EmailFail

I’m doing a little something different today, I’m mixing Thank You Notes with Currently. I forgot to do a Currently post in May,  and now June has come and gone, I don’t want to do that again (let another month just pass me by).

June certainly was a roller coaster of a month, not necessarily for me, but for our world. Sometimes adulting is tough. I’m thankful that June ended with love. 🙂

Thank you, Target Dollar Spot, for tempting me with your stationary goodies. My stamp collection is growing and I may need a bigger tub. (shhh)

Thank you, Internet, for always having the best memes for my posts. 🙂

Thank you, {blog} friends, for shoutouts and reminders that I need to post my Currently posts again.

Feeling optimistic that July will be better than June.

I always get sucked into the dollar section at Target! I love their cute stationery. Also, I was just flipping through Lauren Conrad’s Style book. So much inspiration 🙂

I swear the dollar section is getting better. I have always been a sucker for the Dollar Spot, but now with their pretty stationery and glass jars, it’s getting harder to pass up.
I need all the inspiration I can get in the style department. 🙂

Yay for SITSGirls and that Pinterest Party! I love being a Community Lead.
Also, the dollar section of Target is amazing and I often have to steer right by it.. no looking.. and then I think, “What harm could it do? Everything is a dollar!” And then that sentiment is wrong after I like 30 things.
Your daughter’s curls are amazing. I used to have curls and now it’s more like waves.

I love the SITSGirls!! The Pinterest party was fun, it was the first one I have ever attended. I would love to be a Community Lead, something to aspire to do.
HAHAHA! That sounds like my thought process with the Dollar Spot, and it doesn’t help when your kids are like: get it Mommy it’s only a dollar. They’re pushers.. enablers… 😀

My hair is curwavy it’s this new thing when your hair doesn’t know what it wants to do wave or curl, forget it both.

That dollar section at Target is a killer (and they do have some really cute stationery lately, totally my weakness). Your daughter’s curls are to die for, gorgeous! The food looks fantastic, especially the bacon infused chocolate bark, how is that even possible?? Looks like you are enjoying a wonderful summer so far. Happy 4th!

My weakness too! Darn you Target with your temptation island!! But, it is summer and islands are to be conquered… right? 🙂
Thank you, I keep telling her I would like my hair back. My curls are not as fun as hers.
Oh my gosh if you love chocolate and bacon you’ll love these two together in bar form. Do you keep bacon fat? Anyway you use the fat rendered from the bacon. 🙂
Happy 4th to you too! I hope you and your family have a fun holiday.

The dollar spot at Target always gets me. Before I know it I have like $5 worth of stuff in my cart from there. Sometimes more if I have my kids with me.

That dollar spot will get you every.single.time. They really are stepping up the merchandise there, right?

Eve’s hair is curly like that, and I wonder where it came from! All I have are these odd waves so I end up blow-drying my hair straight most of the time.
You can do some serious damage to your wallet at the dollar section of Target 😉
    Happy birthdays to your boys!

      July 6, 2015 at 12:11 pm

Now you see what I’m talking about, your sweet little Eve reminds me of my daughter when she was younger. I just melt. 🙂
Totally. Damage has taken place in the Target Dollar Spot.
Thank you! We have one birthday this week and the other in two. 🙂
      XOXO

Those stamps from Target are too cute! Your daughter’s hair is gorgeous…she better never cut it, lol! I hope you’re having a wonderful and restful weekend. If you all end up going to the beach soak up enough of it for me…and stay out of the way of sharks! 😉

      July 7, 2015 at 7:48 am

I’m growing my collection of stamps thanks to Target. 🙂
When she was younger her hairy was even more curlier, we cut it to donate and the curls were gone. It took some time but the curls came back, thankfully. I always tell her people would pay for those curls.
We did go to the beach, I was on high alert!
I hope you have a lovely holiday!

Thank you! I’m so in love with my daughter’s curls. When she was a baby I would be stopped and asked if I curled her hair. 😀

You know, she (my daughter) had these curls since she was a baby, she donated her hair to Locks of Love and the curls were gone! Her hair had a wave for awhile, and thankfully the curls came back. I hope they stay for good. I keep telling her to take good care of that hair.

      And thank you!

Hi! I LOVE your daughter’s curls. A plethora of women pay hundreds of dollars to get hair like that! I also love your little summer collage and the pictures of you and your July boys. This is another great idea from a brilliant mind (yours). I love that Maya Angelou quote. I guess I love everything about this post. 😉 xx

AWW THANK YOU, Vashti!! Sending you all the love back 🙂
I always tell my daughter that: people would pay big for those curls.
You used one of my favorite words, I love that. PLETHORA 🙂
