Thank You, Jimmy!

As always Thank YOU Jimmy!

Jimmy, did not share Thank You Notes last week, 🙁  BUT  I went digging into the archives and found a holiday themed

Thank You Notes 🙂

The Twins Mrs. AOK, A Work In Progress

Thank you, littles, for almost taking a perfect picture for me after our lunch date.  I’ll just add a heart bokeh filter, that makes everything better, right?

SBUX with my tweenie Mrs. AOK, A Work In ProgressThank you, South Carolina, for year round seasonal allergies! We had NO idea the allergy season did NOT take a break, so the tween and I had a little trip to the CVC Minute Clinic, while the others enjoyed the Christmas lighting near the beach.  It was okay, thankfully, just allergies, the two of us made the most of our time at CVS, and of course Starbucks makes everyone feel better 😉

Thanks, again, CVS for having a Minute Clinic I can show up to when the pediatricians’ office is closed, annnnd for having gingerbread houses that go perfectly with my Christmas in Germany lesson.  Or as my husband’s thank you note in my tone reads: Thank you, CVS, for selling things I will never eat, but let the kids play with.

Happy Mail Mrs. AOK, A Work In Progress

Thank you, happy mail, my mailbox has been SO good to me!  Friday and yesterday were the best mail days 🙂  Friday I received these beauties . Do you spots my BBF/birthday girl Courtney and her adorable family?  I love their card!  And look at my husband’s cousin’s baby girl, super cute, birth announcements are always precious. Yes, you spy a Thanksgiving card 🙂  I wish I would’ve taken a better picture, but the card standing up is a globe with Santa in it– it’s pretty awesome.

Christmas Story Tee|

Thank you, Old Navy, shoppers for being punctual with your holiday pajama shopping, it was fun going on all out scavenger hunt for new Christmas jams for the kids.  We all just ended up going with plaid, but not all the same or super Christmassy. We’re hoping our graphic tees will help with the Christmassy part.  Which shirt do you like best?
Happy Friday! What are you thankful for this week?

Gingerbread houses!! I was actually thinking of trying out my own with graham crackers but I think I’m going to save myself the hassle and buy the kit! I have to admit that I’m probably loving these Christmas activities and crafts more than my daughter. When my husband came home last night he was like, why do we have pink and gold pinecones?? Oh and Courtney looks amazing after having twins only a few months ago!

Graham crackers, why didn’t I think of that!?! The kit was pretty easy, we just added some more of our own fixin’s 🙂 I also had my husband engineer the house. 😀
I’m the same way, I LOVE all the Christmas activities, and my husband asks.. “Why are we doing this?” 😀 FUN!
Pink and gold pine cones sound BEAUTIFUL!!
      Yes, Courtney looks stunning!
      XOXO

I go to the Walgreens walk-in clinic. It’s a $20 lifesaver this time of year. I developed really bad allergies when I was pregnant with Lulu. I’m now doing immunotherapy via SLIT. Allergies are terrible and I hope you feel better soon! I love Christmas card mail – it always makes me smile! I hope you’re enjoying the holiday season so far. xoxo

I’m sorry about your allergies 🙁
My daugther is the one with the allergies, although, today we just found out she has the flu 🙁
I love Christmas card mail, especially when I see those sweet family photos 🙂
Wishing you the most magical holidays, my friend!

Girl I think Starbucks needs to give you some of their shares…I think you’re keeping them in business :). LOL

These are great thank you notes and that has to be the best gingerbread house I’ve seen. Have a great day and weekend hun! TGIF!

Your gingerbread house looks great! We did a gingerbread train this year per my son’s request. (It was a kit from Wal-Mart, don’t be too impressed!) =)

      December 15, 2014 at 6:16 pm

Thanks! However, a train, I’m quite impressed, I need to see that.
I hope you had a beautiful weekend.
      Wishing you a lovely week!

Aww…your gingerbread house is too cute! I love gingerbread houses, but not actual gingerbread. I’m sure I’ll do them with my kids when they get older. I remember building one in like third grade, and I believe more icing and candy made it into my mouth than the house.

    1. MrsA0K2001

      December 15, 2014 at 6:21 pm

Thanks, Tenns. You will enjoy doing them with your “kids” (?) (insert excited emoticon) when they get older, I’m sure. The best part of being a parent at this time of year, is living it all over again through your babies 🙂

Love the heart bokeh, Starbucks always makes me feel better too, and yay for gingerbread house! I wouldn’t let my kids eat that on a normal day but Christmas, oh yea!

      December 15, 2014 at 6:25 pm

Thank you, Lisa, I’m quite in love with heart bokeh. Starbucks always makes me feel better too, I wish SBUX could get rid of my daughter’s flu… yes, she now has the flu 🙁
Gingerbread house-making is too fun, and next time, I think I need my OWN 🙂
      XOXO

Aw, that picture with your husband and son is so sweet! I’m sorry to hear about the seasonal allergies, that’s a bummer 🙁

    1. MrsA0K2001

      December 15, 2014 at 6:28 pm

Isn’t that picture, precious!?!?! I love it, and HAD to throw it in the post 🙂
Year round seasonal allergies are the pits, apparently they make you accessible to other illnesses such as the flu…. my poor tween.
      XOXO

I love “OMG Santa!!!” We have to watch this movie EVERY YEAR!!!! Year round allergies, NOOOOOO say it ain’t so!!! So not right. Wrong.

Starbucks makes up for this a little 🙂
We do the Gingerbread houses as well, and we love it. So much fun!!!

    Love your Thank you notes…

My son and I both have the “OMG Santa!” shirts 🙂 I also have the Ralphie dressed as a pink bunny shirt, the Ralphie shirt matches my black and white plaid better.

My husband and I, had NO idea we were moving the kids to a place that has seasonal allergies year round, all three of my babies have allergies. My tween is the worst with her allergies 🙁

Gingerbread house-making is fun, right? We also like to make gingerbread men 🙂
I’d love to have you join me for Thank You Notes.
      XOXO

We are gingerbread’ed out this week! We decorated (and ate) gingerbread men and my son made a gingerbread house at school. LOVE IT! And thank YOU for mentioning the Old Navy pajamas. I’ve always wanted to wear matching pajamas on Christmas morning so thanks for the reminder. 🙂

I am thankful for the gingerbread houses, they provided me with a couple of hours of peace and quiet (a rarity in our house)this week! And the beautiful rendition of “Friday I’m In Love”. What a great song! Thanks for sharing!

    1. MrsA0K2001

      December 15, 2014 at 6:43 pm

Hours of peace and quiet, oh that sounds absolutely heavenly 🙂 Please remind me next year to buy everyone their OWN gingerbread house. Actually, the babies did good, I gave them both 2 pieces to work with, and my husband and I took the other two 🙂
I thought that Janet Devlin’s rendition was beautiful as well, I had to share.
      XOXO

The heart bokeh is awesome! I want that filter.
And we got a great gingerbread making house kit today and Des dropped the whole thing! It’s completely non-functional now.
A sarcastic thank you note to him.
