Thank You Notes: Fun, Food, and a Feature

I love Fridays, I love thank you notes, and I love Jimmy Fallon’s Thank You Notes, so, naturally, Friday here on my blog means:

Thank You Notes and Jimmy Fallon!

Jimmy’s Thank You Notes

😀

How is it Friday already? Not that I’m complaining, but this week just flew by…

Thank You Notes

Thank you, last Friday, I loved you. I just had a really good Friday….

Thank you, Krispy Kreme hot now light, for being the reason we HAD to stop and grab FRESH doughnuts, which resulted in a hardcore workout. BUT I’D DO IT AGAIN FOR ONE OF THOSE FRESH PILLOWS OF GOODNESS. Yes, I would. Thankfully, we do NOT live near Krispy Kreme, we were on a drive looking at potential locations to move to, possibly. Psst.. you can get a free Krispy Kreme doughnut today!

Thank You Notes| Thank you, Krispy Kreme, for my hardcore workout.

Thank you, movers, for packing the natural Easter egg dye kit where I could find it. I got that kit when I lived in Illinois after Easter. That’s right, I moved from IL. to SC. without using that dye kit and it still worked this year in Washington. 😀

Easter Egg

Thank you, movers, for misplacing our Easter baskets. We could’ve used those too. Yup, that’s right, we didn’t have baskets for the kids this year. We had to improvise, because we had no idea we didn’t have baskets until Easter eve. The littles were totally cool about it and made their own “baskets”. 🙂

Thank you, kiddos, for walking on hail with me. I know it’s weird but I just had the urge to walk on hail. Polar plunge?

Heart of hail

Thank you, baby boy, for our day this week. Or should I say, thank you, allergies. 😀  He wasn’t feeling 100% but boy did we have a 100% day! 🙂

#MCM Man Crush Monday| It’s no secret that I am CRAZY IN LOVE with my hottie pants husband. I am quite sure I profess my love for him weekly on my blog, which may result in the occasional ➡️ ?. I cannot help it, he just makes me happy and fills my heart, I HAVE to share. Not him. I won’t share him, he’s all mine. ? ************************************ BUT… there’s this other guy I have a thing for, he’s smart, handsome, & filled with energy that radiates. Today, I was lucky enough to soak up that energy while he stayed home with me. He wasn’t feeling well but you would have never known if I didn’t tell ya, because he’s forever smiling. We had the best time cuddling, watching cartoons, and drawing Darth Vader (thanks, @artforkidshub). ************************************* On another note… it’s also Mommy Monday! There’s a party going on over on my blog and you’re invited, bring your best post(s). #MMBH

Thank you, Selena. My mom would make me sing this song to my grandparents and I would also sing it to my nephew when he was a baby (he’s now a grown man in college).

So much goodness to be shared this week. The hail…amazing. Did you actually step outside in it?

We did! We took off our slippers and walked outside barefoot on the freezing hail. 😀
      Happy Friday!!

      Thank you!
Right!?! I had to ask the waitress if it was true, could I possibly indulge in a pumpkin waffle on that lovely spring day. 🙂

Wow, hail! I haven’t seen that in ages. I think I would like to walk on it!
And I would love a doughnut. I’ve only had one Krispy Kreme in my life. Truth be told, it gave me indigestion.
    But I’d do it again.
Have a great weekend! I’ll be in NYC.

Really? It has hailed here a few times.
I’ve had Krispy Kreme I believe around 3 or 4 times. My husband introduced them to me. I wasn’t a doughnut or cake indulger until I met him. 😀
NYC!! I want to come!!! Have fun.
      Happy Friday!
      XOXO

Those Krispy Kreme’s look delicious! I haven’t had one in years. I know I would be addicted if I started buying them! This week I’m thankful for smoothies. At lease once a week now my daughter and I go to a cafe near our house for a smoothie date. Congrats on your featured post lady!!
    Have a great weekend!!

SO MANY THINGS to comment on here.

You and your hubby = SEXY COUPLE ALERT. ME-OW!

FREE KRISPY KREME DONUTS?! Nu uh. Thanks for sharing–those pillowy goods look delicious!

Awwww, I’m sorry to hear your boy was sick but love that you were able to enjoy some snuggles. That sounds wonderful 🙂 Hope you have a great weekend!! XOXO

Awww… you went and made me blush. 🙂
These kids get a break from school and decide it’s time to let the seasonal allergies win. That’s okay, I see all day p.j days and video games in our future this week.
I hope you had an amazing BIRTHDAY WEEKEND!! 🙂
      XOXO

Mmmmm, Krispy Kreme. There was briefly one near us, but I never went to it. Now I like to treat myself to one on the rare occasion when I’m at Penn Station in NYC.
Sounds like a lovely week. And hail! I spent a summer in Boston in high school and one day we had this huge hail storm. It was crazy!

Now that is yummy treat to celebrate a visit to NYC. 🙂
Hail is so interesting and scary, but not super scary, moderate scary. When I lived in Germany we had a hailstorm and the hail broke a glass window, but the hail the other day was so tiny and cute.

I’m thankful that the kids have had a great Spring Break! We planted for more veggies and some fruit in our balcony garden. I’m also thankful that my blog is up and running! I’m excited to be back to blogging.

      Thanks for stopping in. 🙂

It hailed here today and then an hour later it was sunny! Those drawings are amazing! Yum! I love Krispy Kreme, but they closed all of the locations near us!

The weather here is like that one second it’s raining and the next it’s not.
Thank you, my little guy and I have enjoyed drawing together lately- he’s getting really good. 🙂
Krispy Kreme didn’t last long in Naperville, when we lived there, I imagine because D&D is so popular there. I miss Dunkin’….

Oh, Krispy Kreme donuts are irresistible! We had hail today, but I didn’t walk outside because we got snow, too. So much for spring being here…

    1. MrsA0K2001

      April 5, 2016 at 7:10 pm

      They are.
Oh no not hail and snow!! Hopefully, spring will return for you minus any pesky allergies; that’s what I’m dealing with over here with my babes.

Those thank you cards are darling, girl.
I love all your precious moments captured with your family. 🙂 Those drawings are awesome, I wish I could draw that well.
We used to have a KK here and occasionally would drive down, a car full of girls and we’d take orders of who wanted KK and how much. They are so addicting!

I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend Hun! xo

      Thank you, Lindsay! 🙂
I could totally see how KK could get addicting, I’m so glad I don’t live near one. 😀
      Wishing you a beautiful week!

I just had some crazy overwhelming urge to walk on little cute pellets of hail. 😀 I imagine the kids will reminisce one day about how their crazy mama walked on hail with them just because on Easter. 🙂
We’re on Spring Break right now. 🙂

Y’all are going to love them!! They send coloring pages and step-by-steps to your inbox. We’re considering signing up for the summer camp that they have coming up in May. I figure I should pay Mr. Rob because we’ve been using his channel for almost a year now. 🙂
      Happy Drawing!!

Oh how I love Krispy Kreme! I think we make a stop there every other, if not every week. So delicious! I hope you and your kiddos have a lovely Spring Break. I’m sure they’re stoked for it! Oh and that hail…yeah! Isn’t it crazy! ?

    1. MrsA0K2001

      April 5, 2016 at 7:53 pm

I’m sure if we lived nearby my husband would make it a point to have weekly Krispy Kreme visits. 🙂
      Thank you!
