Thank you, National Sibling Day, for a stream of sibling love on my IG last Friday. I’m glad I could join in with these two…

Happy Friday! Happy #SiblingDay! Had fun with this pair of siblings today at the park.

Thank you, little poets, for sharing your poems with us. I loved hearing your creativity flow from you lips. Acrostic, diamante, couplet, and haiku, have nothing on you. 🙂

We’ve been getting ready for poetry night all day. Yes, we made cookies too. #Homeschool A photo posted by Mrs.AOK (@mrs_aok) on

I’m so happy I saw this post this morning because I missed that recipe post! It looks so good!! You are amazing with the home school things you are doing with your kids. The poetry night looked like it was so much fun and more intimate than one of those crowded ones at a school auditorium. I feel like it makes the kids appreciate it so much more. Great job!

Thank you, Karen, that means a lot to me. I sometimes doubt myself as a homeschooling mama, I wonder if I’m doing things right, enough, up to standards…
I know that my kids are happy, they’re having fun, and that makes me happy.
Poetry night was fun. I even set up a little mingle station with food and cookies.

I hope you will check out and try the recipe. 🙂
      Happy Friday!!!
      XOXO

You are so right, creative time IS important. I’m glad my babies encouraged me to keep going, we had fun drawing a roadrunner today. 🙂

I hope they love it too! I want learning to be fun and positive; I’m not sure if I’m doing things 100% right, but I know they seem happier.

I always love seeing these “thank you notes” posts! They are the best! The pictures from Poetry Night are melting my heart. You are such a good, creative mama and I can tell you are totally rocking the homeschooling. I seriously want to do some kind of “happy mail” swap- I think that would be so fun! We should plan something one of these days. 🙂

Thankfully, I have not gotten addicted to Soda Saga. I never made the cross. I’m still on the regular one. I love your thank you notes.

Oh, don’t do it, it’s bad. Soda Saga, is just as addicting or maybe even worse than the first one. I’m such an addict!! Shhh don’t tell anyone. 🙂
      And thank you!
