Thank You Notes |A weekly linkup to share your Thank You Notes| Linkup| Thankful| Mrs. AOK, A Work In Progress

What is “Thank You Notes”? I share a few weekly thank you notes some may big, some may be small, and there may be some snark.  You are invited to share yours too, link up your Thank You Notes below. I cannot take credit for Thank You Notes, Jimmy Fallon is my inspiration for this linkup.

Thank You, Jimmy!

No Thank You Notes from Jimmy 🙁  Pros and Cons will do 🙂

Thank you, hubby, for a coffee and a margarita date this weekend. Okay, our coffee date wasn’t legit, I was at my daughter’s practice and he showed up after the littles’ practice to finish out the rest of softball practice with me… and the littles. 🙂

Drank Dates

Thank you, baby boy, for growing up SO fast. I just love the way you’re zooming through life.  Sure go ahead get taller, lose your baby teeth 🙁 , and while you’re at it go ahead and buy a life size Lego car. It’s a joke, please SLOW DOWN! I never said I was ready for my baby to be a big boy.

Thank you, Jimmy Kimmel and POTUS, for this:

Thank you, Mrs. Tee, for such an awesome giveaway! I’m excited 🙂 #WinnerWinnerChickenDinner

Thank you, #MotherhoodChat Mamas, for joining me.  I cannot wait for our chat this Sunday. MotherhoodChat2015

Thank you, Freddie Mercury, for the family’s theme song tonight. It’s the best to hear everyone singing this song in unison.

Thank you, everyone who commented yesterday on my post, thanks for sticking up for me! Y’all are the best. 🙂  The boss lady was wrong!

The drink WAS SO GOOD! Shhh… don’t tell anyone I had TWO. 🙂

They’re all growing up too fast, I’m trying to hard to save time in a bottle, I guess this blog will have to do. 🙂

      Wishing you a beautiful week!

I know I always say this but your son is just so freaking cute! Do you know how many girls you are going to have hanging around your house when he’s older??
I would love a margarita tonight, that sounds so good! This week I’m thankful that my daughter’s teacher said that she loves how happy my daughter is. It just made my day when she said that because I always stress myself out over everything lately.

He is. I know, it doesn’t help that we blow-up his head *and* he has a massive amount of game for a six year-old.
I could go for a margarita too.

That is one of the highest compliments to you as a mother! You’re doing a wonderful job Mama! If you weren’t worried a bit about parenting, I would worry.
      xoxo

I <3 Freddie Mercury, too! Random Fact: The day I was born "Another One Bites the Dust" was #1. 🙂 Queen, has pretty much been part of my life'soundtrack.

Thank you, I'm excited to receive my signed copy. I actually already have Kristi's first book. We had a little Indie bookstore in Naperville she showed up to & we met her there. That bookstore had all sorts of great signings, we tried to hit-up as many as possible. 🙂

      Waaaaay too fast!

Aww thank you, I’d love to say he gets it all from his Mama…BUT my husband has a whole lot to do with that. 🙂

Jimmy Kimmel is looking good, right?

The Obama “Mean Tweets” sure was funny. I was kind of surprised that a sitting president would do that! Love your Jane Austen quote; I’m a huge Austen fan. 🙂

      Hello Katie!
Thanks for visiting; a friend of Ray’s is a friend of mine.
I was surprised too by the “mean tweets” but it’s nice to see he can laugh at himself.
I’m glad you enjoyed the quote 🙂

Oh my GOSH your son……….I just can’t even…….you are going to have to beat the girls off with a broom stick lol, he is soooo handsome!!! I couldn’t stop staring at his photo. Why do they have to grow up so fast?! I’m trying to get my 4 year old to promise never to leave me and he said okay. We’ll see if that holds up in another decade and a half. And THANK YOU for that Obama video lol, I’ve been dying to see it cause everyone’s been talking about it, hilarious.

      March 24, 2015 at 11:42 am

“Those girls are the devil!” (Name that movie?)
You’re going to need TWO broomsticks! 🙂 I stare at his face often, I love that boy.
I have no idea why they have to grow up so fast, it just isn’t fair.
I love that your sweet boy promised to never leave you. Does he call you his wife or say your his? My son calls me his wife 🙂 and tells my husband I’m his. I hope I can always be his. I will be sure to remind him. (I filmed him, in the event he forgets.) 😀

The “mean tweets” were hilarious. I think I may be mean, because I have watched all the “mean tweets” videos on Jimmy’s YouTube channel. I love ’em.

Aw.. your six-year-old is SO handsome! Scarlet hasn’t lost any teeth yet, but she’s only five and I don’t see it happening until she’s six or seven. We’re late at that!
The mean tweets Obama clip was awesome. I am not talking about politics because.. I just can’t… but I get a kick out of him in a big time.

      March 24, 2015 at 11:48 am

      Thank you! 🙂
I’m sure you’ll be just as sentimental as I am about the lost teeth.. it’s a new chapter. And since he’s my baby it’s like a super chapter for me.
🙂 I totally know what you mean. Again, I think you and I have a similar thought-process on a zillion things, and COOKIES!

Where do I sign up for my date? I’m in desperate need of one!

Your son is too stinking cute! I love how excited he is in his picture! Gracie lost her first tooth over the weekend and it’s all she can talk about. It’s the little things that matter. xoxo

AAAAAH! Sorry, I’m late on responding here, I thought I did.

We desperately needed one too, it had been quite awhile for the two of us.
Thank you, everyone keeps blowing up this boy’s head 😀
Congrats to Gracie, I hope the Tooth Fairy hooked her up ;).

Haha that Obama clip was outstanding! I think he’s a fine president even though i wanted Hilary but she’s coming so I’ll let it slide. I agree that kids grow too quickly, mine will be 8 in May and I’m going to start lying about his age to keep him young not because I care about aging myself lol. Congrats on your win and hope you have a great weekend Mrs. AOK -Iva

The Obama “Mean Tweets” clip was hilarious, it was funny to see him do that. I appreciated how he snapped back with “redundant” in regard to haha and lol.

The time! :(( Seriously, where does the time go? My eldest is 13! I wish I would’ve started lying about her age sooner. :O
      Wishing you a beautiful week!
      XOXO
