Thank You Notes: Happy Little Trees

Posted on

I love Fridays, I love thank you notes, and I love Jimmy Fallon’s Thank You Notes, so, naturally, Friday here on my blog means:

Thank You Notes and Jimmy Fallon!

Jimmy’s Thank You Notes:

Thank you, Jimmy!

Thank You Notes

Thank you, babe, for writing last week’s Thank You Notes. 🙂

Thank you, family, for painting along. 🙂 I feel like the luckiest lady to have a family that joins me on a whim to Michael’s to get some painting supplies and then come home and paint their little hearts out with me.

Thank you, Bob Ross, for that spark! I’m quite sure the kids and my hubby played along because we watched Bob Ross on Friday.  Friday was great by the way, my husband was off, the whole family went happy mail shipping, book finding at the library, and there was pizza! 🙂

Thank you, Pacific Northwest, for such beautiful happy little and big trees…

PNW Trees Mountains | Thank You Notes

BUT NO thanks on making me fear trees!! Trees were coming down yesterday due to crazy winds. I was without power for a few hours, thankfully no trees came down near me, just branches and all the pretty little happy pink flowers .

Thank you, Bev, for writing such a wonderful book for creative mothers feeling like they need to get that creative juice back in their life minus all the mama guilt. You can grab your copy of Bev’s book in my sidebar 😉

Thank you, Penny, for tagging me to share 3 pictures of what makes me proud to be a Mom. I’m so proud to be a Mama to my three! My three + (the) one are my happily ever after. 🙂 While we’re on the topic of motherhood, did you read Michelle’s post about being a confident mother? It’s a good read 🙂

Soooo… my friend @pennychevalley asked me to share THREE pictures that represent why I’m proud to be a mom. Three? How about 3*2? Confession: I wasn’t the best at math in school. ?? ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

I didn’t choose the #MomLife the mom life chose me. Annnnd I couldn’t be more happy & proud to be a Mama to my three. I have a zillion reasons/pictures why I’m proud to be a Mommy but these 3*2 are a pretty good representation of why I’m proud to be a mama.

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

1) My proud mommy heart grows in size when my kids embrace learning. Learning about culture, life, MATH, history, kindness- those things matter. 2) Magic! I’m proud & honored to enjoy the magic through my kids. That magic is contagious with kids. ? Right? 3) I think every mama can agree with this one: when the babies are sweet to one another just because= proud. :::whisper voice:: The littles hold hands on the way into school. ? I wish when they got home they would be that sweet, afternoons after school are a different story. ? 4) I’m pretty darn proud of our Halloweens! More importantly I’m proud of the family unity we have. 5) Who wouldn’t be proud of watching her kids create? My kids are little artists & bakers, they’re not afraid of getting their hands in there and creating masterpieces. 5) Traditions & celebrations! We have 55 million kooky traditions. Celebrations are huge too ? ( New library card = celebration/ Good grades= celebration/ Good game= celebration/ Win an essay contest= celebration) You get the point ? So what 3 or 3*2 pictures represent what makes you proud as a mutha? Anyone can join along.

Woke up, linked up and saw my post you shouted out. Thank you sweet friend. I loved writing that one and it brought back many memories of raising my girls and many struggles to get where I am today. Appreciate you sharing it!! You rock…

Cute that your friend, the author, won the giveaway! Happy Friday!
Glad you guys or property didn’t get damaged when the trees were coming down in the storm. That IS scary!

It’s funny my husband was in the kitchen getting a drink and I yelled out “SHUT UP!” He was like, “What?” Me: Bev won! Him: Yeah, that’s gonna go over well, your FRIEND won. Me: Well, she did.
I thought that was pretty awesome that a random wasn’t a random to me at all. 🙂
The trees are so scary! There are downed trees in tree lines that have been there for what looks like ages, I’ve wondered why nobody has ever cleared them, but I guess since they’re not in the road they figure they are fine. Yesterday, however, on my husband’s way to work there was a tree hanging on to a power line!!!! YIKES! The streets here were littered with evergreen branches and pines.. it was snowing pink flowers too.
Roads were closed and houses crushed. When we first moved here, a tree took a life of a little. I’m sure you can understand a little bit why the wind plus trees has created a slight fear for me.
Sorry, didn’t mean to be a Downer Debbie on Friday! It’s FRIDAY!! Happy, happy, wear your cute kiddo’s fantastic jewelry line Friday!!

Ugh, trees can be scary for sure! But oh so pretty! Thanks, Bob Ross! Thank you, Friday, for being here and being sunny and refreshing and possible.

Yes, the trees can be scary. I just shared why they are scary in my comment to Lisa… which now I feel like a Downer Debbie. 🙁 And, yes, trees are beautiful. 🙂
Don’t you just love, Bob Ross?!?! I feel like I could meditate to his voice every night. 🙂
Happy FRIDAY!! Wishing you and your sweet family a happy sunny weekend!

Woot woot, exciting week for me! Thank you so much for sharing my book and for sharing your giveaway. Can I get a Mrs. AOK original for my phone? 😀
Seeing pictures of you and your family getting creative together makes my heart sing!

Bev this is your week! (I said that like This is Your Life.) I just did the whole breakdown of how the conversation went between me and my husband when your name and face popped up on my screen in my comment to Lisa. 🙂 It was funny.
You could get an original! (I would be honored.) If you’d like, or I’m sure a sweet picture of Eve or her art work would be lovely too. 🙂
      My heart sings too. 🙂

I love family trips to the library. I always check out way too many books. But there are always so many good books available.
It’s great that your family likes to paint with you. I recently started coloring and I’m loving it 🙂
