Word… just one?  I cannot choose just ONE word, I love words!  I collect them, write them, highlight them, I even go as far as to buy books full of them, so you see I cannot choose ONE word. I stopped myself from writing a book of words for the year.  Instead, I’m using the words that came to me in the shower aka my thinking spot. WORD.In no particular order my words to live by for 2015:

Present

I need to be even more present in my life.  This life is so good, and I’m thankful for every single second I have of it.  Nothing should be taken for granted,  I’m working hard this year to remember that.

create

Last year I did NOT create as much. Creating things with my hands makes me incredibly happy. (Who doesn’t want to be happy?)  I want to paint, hot glue, draw, weave, and glitterfy.  My family is in on this one, we’re all art journaling this year. Positive

Believe it or not…. I CAN be a Debbie Downer, especially when it comes to myself.  I am my harshest critic. This year, I want to remain positive, and look for the good, even when the good seems inaccessible. Brave

Brave goes hand-in-hand with positive, because this year I’m not holding back! I plan on pushing myself out of my comfort zone, and conquering mountains. Doubt is out, and bold is gold. 😉 patience

Even though I plan on being bold this year, I need to remain patient, things aren’t going to happen right away, and that’s okay.  I have to remember this especially when I eat 10 salads in a row, drink gallons of water, and do 50 squats a day, and still don’t look like JLo.  Please remind me to be patient with that 😉  I’m sure I’ll need a reminder at some point. Encourage

I want to be a cheerleader for others as well as myself.  I want to push family, friends, future friends, and strangers to do their best.  We’re all in this fight together, right?  This year I will be a card & letter-writing- just-because-texting-love-spreading-encourager.

My favorite word Love

Love, always makes my list.  (I’m a lover a Latin Lover on top of that 😉 HELLO..) I want to throw love and kindness out there like glitter! Throw Love & Kindness Out There Like Glitter So, those are my words for 2015, I could totally add more, but I stopped myself. I wrote this post as soon as I was done with my shower, in my notebook next to my bed, because I wake up with ideas too.  When I was finished writing I popped on Twitter, and saw this tweet:

Mia, is giving me the opportunity to start working on my “words” I’m excited to join this swap.  I’m looking forward to encouraging my swap partner to chase her dreams. Do you have a word or words for this year?  A goal?

It really is hard to choose one word (even if I force myself to do it). I am also working on being more patient and present this year. And the best ideas always come in the shower; I think I should keep a pen and paper in the bathroom! I hope you’ll share some of what you create this year 🙂

Ha Ha! I originally wrote, you know where I don’t have a pen and paper, but omitted it. Although, Amazon does have a waterproof notepad for those aha moments 😀
I like your SMART goals, I think I may need to implement that too.
Here’s to conquering 2015 with a smile on our faces!

You’re already so much more beautiful than J.Lo! I’m working on courage this year. I hate upsetting people (#libraproblems) and I’ve been screwing myself over because of it. I’ve been dealing with some interesting characters already this year and they’re really pushing me on choosing courage over cowardice behavior. I really just wish everyone was honest and kind in life. Happy 2015! You’re one amazing woman. xoxo

Oh Chastity, can I just bottle you up, you’re the sweetest!!
I totally understand the #LibraProblems, I hope you’ll choose courage, and then remind me to do the same. I’m too nice for my own good sometimes, I cannot help it, but you get it. I hate that people are testing you!! Goodness!– we’re only six days in!! I feel like we need to chat about this… libra chat.
As our girl Tay Tay says… shake it off.

I love that you chose more than one. They’re all beautiful words and I have no doubt you’ll achieve them. last year I couldn’t think of just one word, but I wish I had thought about using many. Words are so beautiful, especially when the meanings behind them are so sincere.

I think with this post you hit the word “Create” on the head. I love the design of this post, it is beautiful. The other reason it is beautiful is the thought of each word that makes this post. The other word that stands out for me is your word “Encourage” you have done that each week with your Link Up party you and the other ladies do, and with popping over and visiting my and other blogs 🙂

    Love it!!!!!

If you google the name Ray, you will find these words: Grace & radiant, and I would agree! You’ve been such a “ray” of light, thank you!
I would say you have totally embodied the word “encourage”. Thank you!

LOVE this, so inspiring!!! I was nodding in agreement to all of these, I want to work on the same things. Especially the patience one. And the positivity one. And the encourage one, the love one, the brave one, the being present one…yeah you named them all lol. Those are all such good “words” to aspire to because they are attainable if we remain focused! Great post <3

Love this; it’s inspirational! The positive energy radiates from your words. (I also love that your shower is your “thinking spot”. I get some of my best thoughts there too!)

    1. MrsA0K2001

      January 10, 2015 at 11:39 am

      Thank you, Keisha!
Okay, so, I want to print out your comment and keep it next to my computer. Is that weird? I’m not weird. Okay, maybe an offshoot 😉

Argh! Don’t you hate that all the wonderful ideas, posts, or plans happen in the shower, half of the good stuff goes down the drain! I’m seriously considering purchasing the waterproof notepad on Amazon. 🙂

I love all your words. My “word” is organize. Organize my life, my blog, my family, we all need it! Very ambitious, but I am taking baby steps. I also want to take to heart your 3 “P”s of patience, present, and positive because I could work at all of those too. Love this post. Sorry I missed the SITS party this week. Have a wonderful week!

I cannot wait to see how you organize and conquer the 3 “P”s this year! 🙂
