30 Random Acts Of Kindness

Posted on

If you don’t already know, I have kindness challenge going on,  I’m even giving away some goodies to help you keep on spreading kindness. I thought today would be a great day to share a couple ideas for some random acts of kindness. My challenge runs from now until after Thanksgiving. I’m hoping some people will decide to be the good on Black Friday and share a few random acts of kindness, please. Anyway, tomorrow is World Kindness Day, so why not share an act of kindness tomorrow? If you share your good deed on social media or blog about it tag me and link it here. #RandomAOK 😉

    Fantastic ideas!

I smile and wave at people often and most of the time they look frightened.

This is such a great idea! Your idea about sending a card to the elderly makes me really miss my grandma. I saved all of her cards she had sent to me and I read them daily. This is the first year I don’t have any cards from her or that I’ve sent to her.

You make the world a better place. xoxo

      Awww shucks, Chastity, THANK YOU!!

I know this year had to be tough on you without your grandma, I’m sorry. Thankfully, you have her cards as reminders of her. Maybe, sending a card to someone in her honor on her birthday could be a tradition?
      Sending you tons of love!!!

These are wonderful ideas! Just think, if every person did just one of these a day, how the world would be a better place. Great idea and random acts of kindness should be everyday. Wouldn’t you agree?

Love all these ideas 🙂 I love it when people leave coupons by the items that I need. I call them coupon fairies. They truly make my day. We plan on donating some toys very soon. Our house is overflowing with toys that my kids are too big for, but that are in great condition.

I love #13. I’m going to Target this weekend and I’ll do that! I’ll try to leave it at kid level too. I think that would really brighten someone’s day.
So today there was a guy riding by me on his bike on my way to Starbucks. I thought he said hi to me but wasn’t positive but I smiled and said hi. And he almost crashed his bike saying, “Thank you for smiling at me!”
    Aw!

AWESOME!! You’re going to make a kiddo very happy this weekend! Maybe you’ll inspire others to do the same, I hope.

Just yesterday at the wholesale club, someone left a coupon right on top of the diapers we needed. $3.00 is a big deal with three babies at home. 😉 I’m also a big fan of driving with a little kindness- let someone merge in front of you, let someone turn in front of you, or let them have that space up front. Walking a bit further is better for my backside anyway. 🙂

Three kids club! I know exactly what you mean, Jessica, every single penny counts when you’re raising three babies. This weekend at B&BW the cashier told me to split my purchases so she could give me a coupon for my second purchase, she gave me a TEN DOLLAR coupon!!! Because of the sale and the coupon I saved $30!! That was such a sweet act of kindness, I kept thanking her. 😀
I’m with you we could all be nicer on the roads, I try my hardest to stay calm and nice there.
I would love for you to join the challenge I’m having on my blog. 🙂 We’re trying to spread kindness.

This is such a lovely idea, A! Thanks for giving examples too. Even the smallest gestures can make someone’s day. I love the idea of leaving a $1 in the section at Target and leaving change in a gumball machine. Can you imagine being a kid, salivating over the gumball machine and finding a shiny quarter waiting for you in the slot? #17 is so sweet. Love this!

      November 16, 2015 at 12:23 pm

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Keisha!!
I planned to fill all the gumball machines this weekend and guess what… I forgot my stinkin’ change!!! 🙁
Leaving a dollar in the dollar section is one of my favorites, I try to leave the dollar near the kid items- it goes fast. 🙂
I plan on doing #17 this week. I know how hard it can be to wrangle kids in public, it’s nice to hear you’re doing alright.
Thanks for stopping by, wishing you a beautiful week!
      XOXO

It’s amazing what big difference a small act can do. I recently had someone go out of her way to hold the door open for me as I was wrangling all my show stuff out of the venue and I clearly had my hands full. I was so grateful for her help!

Kindness doesn’t have to be big for it to be big, those little acts mean so much. It really doesn’t take much to be kind, and that was a great example of that. 🙂
