New to Thank You Notes?  Thank You Notes was borrowed from the one and only Jimmy Fallon, he shares weekly Thank You Notes every Friday on his show, and now I do too, well, on my blog 🙂

Here are Jimmy’s Thank You Notes from last week:

Thank you, Jimmy, for all the laughs this year!

Thank You, Jimmy!

Thank you, baby girl, for loving a good craft show just as much as I do. The two of us had the best time stopping in as many kiosks as we could. We picked out the prettiest seashell ornament for my mother in law.

Thank you, craft show (in South Carolina), we enjoyed the beautiful handmade goodies, the kids enjoyed their first ever funnel cake, and the littles and I both enjoyed the free photo booth.

These funnel cakes were fresh, they were making the mix right there, see the mixer above.  The kids are fans.

Can I revoke a Thank You Note?  Okay, maybe I’m being a bit harsh, but remember how last week I thanked Minute Clinic, well, turns out my daughter has the flu, not allergies! (We found out on Monday, so, yes, we lived the weekend like she just had ALLERGIES!) However, in CVS’s defense, if I’m playing devil’s advocate, the pediatrician said my daughter could have had her allergies when we saw the other doctor, and that her allergies could have made her vulnerable to the flu at school 🙁 So, with that, thank you, Dr. M, for the “right” diagnosis.

Flu|Nobody has time for that!

Thank you, boys, for the fun latkes showdown.  The two of you put up a great fight, but in the end the best latkes won.  I love how the two of you guys were all tuckered out (see picture below).

It was the morning when we made the latkes, so excuse my morning hair and puffy face 🙂 Their latkes were more traditional and mine were… Latinafied.  Jalapeño, cilantro, and lime latkes for the WIN!

Thank you, Pinterest! Another season, some more Pinterest DIY’s, the kids enjoyed their snowmen cocoa mugs, and I know the kiddos’ grandparents are going to LOVE their picture glass ornaments.  The kids wrote a little message to their grandparents in each bulb… message in a bulb. (The Police)

Thank you, beloved furbaby, for NOT ruining the holidays, and coming back to mama! Yes, our beloved furbaby got off of his leash and ran off last night.  My husband called up to me as I was tucking the kids in, I ran outside, and here comes this sweet little guy.  He’s a mama’s boy, my husband knew he’d come for me.

WHAT?! Just had their first funnel cake?? Just kidding! What a great treat. I like it in the summer :). So cute that the hubs & son were so tired after making latkes. It doesn’t take much to pucker out the boys.

Yes, I’m not sure we ever were anywhere where funnel cakes were present. Either way they’re fans. This was “the” best funnel cakes I’ve ever had.
I love that picture of m’boys all tired after being beat 🙂

Ooh, the Latinafied latkes sound amazing! Do you have a recipe? I still have yet to make any due to being sick (boo!) but hoping to finally this weekend.
Glad you’re furbaby made his way home, that must have been scary. What a sweet face!
So sorry to hear about your daughter, that really stinks. Is she feeling better? I went to the Minute Clinic this week and they were quite helpful, thankfully. I also went to my doctor’s office today and basically got the same diagnosis as at the Minute Clinic. But, I guess people do make mistakes :-/

I’m SO sorry I’m late on responding!! For some reason I thought I responded to everyone 🙁
The latkes were yummy, I used one jalapeno, garlic, fresh lime juice, adobo, cumin, cilantro, potatoes, panko, and onions. For the sour cream I added lime juice, jalapeno juice, and cumin. 🙂
My daughter is thankfully better, how are you and your sweetie pie?

Thank you for sharing your favorite books with me!!! That craft fair looks like so much fun. I love those and could probably spend a small fortune there. You need to post your latke recipe because it sounds really good! I’ve never made them before but I have a friend that makes delicious plain ones with homemade applesauce. Yummmmm! Keep enjoying all of the holiday fun!!

That was their first time having funnel cakes? That’s the only thing I like to eat at fairs and festivals. I love cilantro and would love to try your latkes. it sounds super yummy! Your ornaments are too adorable – that’s a great idea! Tell your fur baby not scare you like that again! Happy Holidays! xoxo

Aww your son in that little apron…he’s such a character! I’ve had latkes only a few times in my life and they weren’t half bad. I’m not a huge pancake girl, but I do like potatoes. I guess for folks that love both, its the best of both worlds. So awesome that yours were “Latinafied”, lol! That just means they had a little more creativity invested in them than the normal ones. 😉

He has plenty of character 😀
I’d love to serve you up some Latinafied latkes 🙂
Sorry, I’m so late with my response.

Yay for funnel cakes and craft fairs! I love both. Glad you all got the right diagnosis because the untreated flu is nothing to play with. Happy Holidays!

I’m so glad we got the right diagnosis too, she’s so tough!
Happy Holidays to you to, my friend.
I’m sorry I’m late with my response.

How fun about the latkes! Wow. I love them so much. I sent Cassidy a rainbow latkes article which had so many different ones with a rainbow of ingredients – beets, eggs, greens, etc.

Hope your daughter is ok! Can they really do anything for the flu?

I’m sorry this response is SO late!!
I’ve seen the rainbow latkes, yum!

My daughter is MUCH better, but now my son’s allergies are acting up 🙁
I guess if you catch the flu early enough there’s Tamiflu, but since we were late, nothing. XOXO
