I love Fridays, I love thank you notes, and I love Jimmy Fallon’s Thank You Notes, so, naturally, Friday here on my blog means:
THANK YOU NOTES + JIMMY FALLON
Jimmy’s Thank You Notes
The Patrick note was corny, but I totally chuckled.
Thank You Notes
Thank you, power, for going out while I was cooking dinner. Without that I wouldn’t know how awesome tostadas are in the morning with an egg on top. I wish I had a picture to share, but trust me they looked good and tasted good too.
I think I should fake a power outage at home, so we can all sit together by candlelight and read.
Thank you, internet, for funny “hambre” memes, because hombre!
Thank you, Twitter, for being a backlog of stupid things you said before you ran for president. Note to self must delete a few things…
Thank you, CUBS!!! Let’s keep it going!!!! {I’m writing this on Thursday, there’s a game tonight. I’m calling it, we WIN.}
Thank you, kids, for a good laugh this morning… and always.
My son is a space guy. He knows all sorts of facts about the universe, and he’s always sharing them. Daily I ask him if he has a secret subscription to Space Facts R Us because he has something new for us every day. Anyway, he was quizzing my daughter (the 10 year-old) and I on our knowledge about the universe. That’s when my daughter (the 10 year-old) says, “You know, back when I was a kid Pluto was still a planet.” DEAD. I couldn’t help but laugh so hard and then high five her, because SAME HERE, kid. (Per my daughter’s memory she learned about Pluto in Kindergarten.)
Thank you, election, for almost being OVER!!
So, who or what gets a Thank You Note from you? Got something good to share let me know below.

October 23, 2016 at 6:50 amYes, I remember when Pluto was a planet and I still find it crazy that it isn’t a planet.
Oh, the memes lately have been so amazing! I guess that’s one good thing to come out of this election so far, right? (Silver lining?)

October 25, 2016 at 10:16 pmThat’s hilarious that your daughter said back when she was a kid. My son knows a lot about space too. I just check out random books and put them on the shelf. So I’m thankful that the library has so many great kids books.
