Thank You Notes: That’s What She Said

I love Fridays, I love thank you notes, and I love Jimmy Fallon’s Thank You Notes, so, naturally, Friday here on my blog means:

Thank You Notes + Jimmy

Thank You Notes

I was running a little behind this week, so I hope you don’t mind if I write a few thank you notes…

Thank You Notes| It's FRIDAY, time for thank you notes!

I’m a day late. I thought about skipping Thank You Notes, but I couldn’t. (It felt weird not to do Thank You Notes on Friday.) I’m thankful for so many things, it would be wrong of me to not say what I’m thankful for. First I want to say thank you to you!

Thank you, for always supporting me. For sticking around even when I’m a slacker pants. I truly don’t mean to be. I feel like I owe everyone an explanation. Here’s the thing… I hid from the internet for a bit because it was getting ugly, I don’t do ugly. I also have been working on a Christmas series that I’m excited about, which although has been some work, it’s been a great distraction.

And then there is my new Etsy shop!!

That's What She Said Quote ShopI opened the virtual doors YESTERDAY! I totally wanted to tell you about it YESTERDAY, but I never got around to posting Thank You Notes. Here’s a peek into my  shop: That’s What She Said Quote Shop

I have more Thank You Notes, but I had to share about my shop. I hope you’ll visit me. Promo Code: TWSS1111 $2.00 off

Moving on…

Thank you, SNL, for this!!

And now I think you owe me a thank you note. 😉

There was this too. 🙂

Thank you, Babe, for helping me pull off a sleepover for a group of 10-11 year-old girls in less than 4 days. 🙂

You’re the best!

Also, thank you, babe, for being a shoulder to lean on and a great lunch companion. 🙂

Thank you, Starbucks, for your tempting display. It worked, I’ve enjoyed a few red cups….

::: I tried to peek. shhh :::

Thank you, kids’ school, for putting on an awesome Veterans Day program. I have a video to share, but I’ll have to add that later.

Thank you, veterans, and their families for all of your sacrifices for our country.

My hero. ? ❤️???

Thank you, kind hearted souls, for trying to keep the peace and spread love.

Thank you, kids, for being happiness. My little elf has begun her Christmas decorating.

So, who or what gets a thank you note from you this week?

  1. Oh, I don’t have a post to share this week, but I’m glad to see yours up. I was like, what the heck? No thank you notes! What gives? Then my notification came and there it was! Thank your husband for serving our country! 🙂

    1. That’s okay. Maybe this Friday? It felt weird to consider not doing THANK YOU NOTES without telling everyone I was taking off from them.

  2. You have a cool new Etsy shop 🙂
I have been trying to stay off the internet too. Especially, news sites so I don’t have see the hateful things that are happening.

    1. Thank you, Sonya!! ?
The internet has been awful. Well, let me retract that statement, people have been awful.
Hopefully, we can create some peace.

  3. Happy birthday to your baby girl! My daughter is turning 8 (and my son is 10) and I hate how big they are getting! Wahh! I am so proud of who they are becoming, though. Congrats on your Etsy shop!!! Woohoo!!!!

  4. Yay, congratulations on your Etsy shop!! I want to buy all the prints. Actually, I have one picked out for my sister, and I will be purchasing one (or more) for my studio space 🙂 Now which one(s) to get….
Happy birthday to your sweet daughter. Oh man the days when Eve will be having sleepovers. Feels so far away right now but I’m sure it comes fast!

  5. Ooh, that plate of lunch looks like my ideal plate of lunch.
I don’t know it’s like for you when it gets ugly, but for me, I hide! So I always thank people who make me peek out. Speaking of peeking.. the Starbucks. Yes.
And thank you, SNL, for keeping me sane this week.
