    1. Going through the pictures for the collage… Dead. I do not know where time went.
I’m doing surprisingly well, thanks, perhaps it will hit me later on next week.
      The cookies were/are delish!

  1. Happy Birthday to your sweet little (though not so little) girl! Yes, home thrown sprinkles makes the cupcake homemade. Whole Foods makes really good baked goods, so bravo to you! Lovely weather you’ve had, so lucky! Have a great Friday and V-Day!

    1. Thanks, Lisa.
      I love Whole Foods!

The weather was nice, this weekend it is supposed to get chilly for these parts.
I’m sure there will be parka sightings :).
      Happy Valentine’s Day!

  2. I’ve been craving sweets all week. I plan on making a few different sweet treats for Valentine’s Day.
Kids truly grow up so fast. With each birthday I can’t believe how old my kids are. My baby is about to turn 3 and it’s hard to believe my son will also be turning 7 soon.

    1. I have been losing to sweets. I had another cupcake today :-/ but it was good.
Time seriously flies when you’re having fun.

  3. I just have to say a thank you to my Aunt Lo for reminding me this week how much love she had to go around. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Dean, and a lovely Valentine’s Day 🙂

  4. I always do my gratitude list on Tuesdays but there’s a lot for which to be grateful this week…foremost being alive. I was in a bad accident Wednesday afternoon on my way home -I was hit from behind, causing me to flip my Jeep. My FIL said I am lucky to be alive so I’m grateful for that, for family & friends who have rallied around me – my sweet husband for tending to me in the wake of it.

    1. OH MY GOODNESS!!! I am SO glad you are okay. I’m sorry I am late responding WP stuck you in spam 🙁
I’m heading over now. Sending you love!!

  5. Sorry I missed the Thank you’s this week….. Love yours, and I so want to go with you to the Kings Street looks amazing, and as for the weather YES PLEASE!!!!!! Happy Birthday 13!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. No need to apologize, m’dear! I look forward to your next set of Thank You Notes when you get to them. 🙂
I would love for you to go to King Street with me!
Thank you for the birthday wishes. <3

  6. But cookies, indeed! Although Whole Foods cupcakes are far preferable to boxed mix ones or ones from the grocery store filled with red and blue dye.
    So you did very well.
Man, she’s a beautiful girl – love the baby photo.

    1. Cookies all day everyday! 🙂
You’re right Whole Foods cupcakes are AWESOME! My babies went to a cupcake making class at the Whole Foods back in Naperville, IL, and we were happy to learn how they made the icing with vegetables as dye. You cannot even taste it.
I had Mom’s Best Mallow Oats this weekend and thought of you :).

And thank you, she is such a beautiful girl inside and out. Going through her baby pictures – gah!

    1. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Karen!!!
Oh the cupcakes, I had even more on Friday!! My friend sent some to my daughter and those were super yummy too. ::shakes head::

  7. Oh my gosh, that cookie!!!!!!!!! It looked perfect!! I can’t believe you have a 13 year old, I bet you remember when she was a baby like it was yesterday. I love weekends with perfect weather and cupcakes with sprinkles! I also love these posts because they always make me feel happy 🙂 Hope you’re having a good week so far!

    1. Thanks, Jessica! I cannot complain thus far 🙂
Cookies, cupcakes, and carrot cake oh my!!
I need to lay off the sweets.

    1. I’m so sorry I am just now responding. For some reason my blog keeps sticking my friends in spam 🙁
      The cupcakes were insanely delicious.
And thank you for the birthday wishes!
